Does anyone else read WII as World War something...

Whenever someone capitalizes Wii, it looks like WII and I always think it's WWII. World War 2. Is it just me or does this happen to other people too?

How so?
WII -> console
WWI -> World War I, I think
WWII -> World War II

He's not saying that it can be abbreviated that way, he's just saying that Wii when capitalized looks confusingly like WWII. And I agree wholeheartedly. That is why the "i"s must be lowercase. And is it that hard for people? Its not like everyone went around saying GAMECUBE..

Uuuh, no I never do that.

Just don't write it in capital letters...they probably made it Wii on purpose.

Just look at the look clearly the last two letters aren't capitalized... >_> Meh...
Anyways, I still think "WII" is unconfudible with "WWII". There's clearly plus one "W", so I don't really get the point...

I often confuse it with WWII.

You have a point there- but the I's in Wii look identical to Roman Numerals. So that's where the confusion stems from.

When I read the topic title I read "Does anyone else read World War II as World War something?" and I was like "what?  of course, its World War II"

Then I saw it was supposed to say "Wii" when I read the topic and I'm like "oh"
