Hmm, what more can I say than what's already been said? A wise man once said "Make an engine, then when you've almost completed it - scrap it and make it again" - this will help you make an amazing engine, since you will know how to do things better each time, and you can plan for any unseen occurrences you encountered in the previous engine...

Also, your game title sounds a bit too similar to imfletcher's Darkness Uprising  :-\

NO No no you don't understand, this is only the basic design, MUCH more work will be spent, I just want the basic stuff done first

EDIT: I didn't even know there was a darkness uprising until a day ago (Besides people voted it to be the rising darkness)

Anyway, what I'm doing is the basic design then I'm doing the items and enemies then finally the greater detail

This is how the demo's are going to be like

Demo3- Lands Of Lustria,Maybe level 1
Demo4-Maybe level 1,level 2,Gurur Guru Mountains
Demo5-Level 3
Demo6- Not telling you

I also wanted to post saying that demo three is nearly out just a few more things

Enemy A.I- Need Octorok,Guards,________ (Your choice)

Can you believe that's all that is blocking us from demo three. And finally, I am still recruiting staff, see first post.

I have done part one of the lands of lustria, part one of the hud, part one of the chest engine and part one of the heart pieces. My main attention is to complete the heart pieces. Sorry for the double post.

Hey laigonaz, it's me: peter(your coder)

i"m working on a sword+enemy+the chest engine.. (I already made the chest engine)

and  I have also got some questions..

1: for the sword engine , wil there be a charge up?  becuase that wil change a lot in the engine..

2: for the enemy engine , I have made a octorok(not shooting onley walking around..)
but a octorok seems real simmple, should I make more complicated creatures?

3: the ME character, is it just standing, or can it walk, do strange movesor anything?

4: other things I can do?    :P

forgot one small thing to ask laigonaz...

a sword engine is mostly made with a second object. ( obj_player and obj_sword)
if I use 1 object for the player and bould the sword engine in it(without obj_sword)
it wil be merged with all it's coding..
The second object is however much easyer to understand if your planning to use it..

what i'm trying to say is: if you use 1 object you'l have to rip the coding apart to get the sword engine

and if you use two objects: you can use it, without ripping the coding

... :o
I don't realy understand what I just wrote.. so if you can't understand it neither, just say if I have to use a second object for the player to use his sword or not. 8)
