gears of war_hate it or love it

I beat GoW wo day after I bought it. When I counted actual game time, I beat the game in about 4 hours.That's ny only beef is that it was too short.

It was amazing, but the game was way too short. I beat it on insane in 6 hours.

Wasn't it meant to be more of a multiplayer experience though? I mean, if that's the case, it's like complaining about a crap 1p mode in Mario Party. Come to think of it, are there any Mario party games with good 1p modes?  :P

 Well, considering the multiplayer isn't really even flushed out, I doubt it. The game is basicly a graphical powerhouse showing the public the amazing things the 360 is capable of.

 I have to admit it though, I loved the single player as short as it was. Especially fighting Beserkers....

Gears of War has been the best 360 game EVER, so far. 2nd is Oblivion.

The graphics...the guys at Epic put this together really well. All the graphics effects and everything. The lighting, too!
But, Cliffy B. from Epic said that they only, "scratched the surface of the Xbox 360 when it came to real time lighting."

The story was short, but it's one of those stories that you can do over and over....like 5 times or something like that. The story was nice, and I loved how it put you in all sorts of different scenarios, like on the train or in those mine carts. Chainsaws were....fun in a psycho way.

The multiplayer was endlessly fun, though. I loved the rooftop level and the level with the train. It was so friggin intense. I wish I still had this game...

I just finished the game yesterday, didn't take me long.  I love the multiplayer so far.

Just got it this afternoon, sadly my TV is only 50 Hz, so I brought it to the living room and played it there for like (guess >>>)2 hours.  I'm right after the Berserk guy.  Awesome game!
