I'm seeing alot of stuff like, this egg hatched on... or this egg will hatch on... What is this about?

Like the ones in my profile? It's sort of like a pet, where you put the egg's url into your signature, and whoever uploaded that picture replaces it with a hatched version when the date it "hatches" comes.

I forgot where I found it from, unfortunately...
