Audio / Re: New soundtrack

Q.K.!  You never cease to amaze me haha.  The rainfall song is still unreal to this day.  Everything else has such a professional quality to it to.  I had forgotten how dope you were at music production.

Good !@#$% man.  It looks like I've been gone longer than I thought haha.  Last time I saw a post by you, you were still making sprites.

This one btw is straight out of a photoshoot, pose/composure = sick.

Contests / Re: Zelda Design Competition #1 - Dungeons
« on: July 10, 2009, 09:36:55 pm »
I would come back after registration is over. :-[  I haven't mapped in years but this could be fun if you do another contest.

Congrats Wombat.  This is ridiculous I remember playing all the demo's you had made back in the day thinking you'd one day be a professional.  I'm download the app right now.

It's sick to see your still working on this hawthorneluke!  I'm glad you finally found a graphics artist haha I knew you were looking for one for the longest time.  The project still looks dope I can't wait to see more.

This is spam guys, you know it.

Zelda Projects / Re: [WIP] LOZ: Vengeance (56k Warning)

The map looks pretty good, just random enough that nature could actually make it.  The trees are placed nicely, not randomly (a common mistake) as trees grow in "packs" not alone.  It's a bit empty right now, but some water effects, and maybe and overlay of birds flying around every once in a while?  As well as animating the tiles (flowers, etc) should make it look like a real Zelda map.

However the buildings just seem boring to me, they need to be less square and perhaps have some different roof tiles to mix things up?  I know the LTTP sheets have them.

Also we need to talk on Gmail.

Looks great King, but one thing, do the proportions seem a little too realistic for the MC style?  The MC style always seems to me to have short legs and arms in concept art.

Debates / Re: Truth is not relative!

But if truth isn't relative, then I can't say I didn't eat the hamburger.  When some one else did eat the hamburger, but not me.  Making it true, but not really true?

And if it's not then why should I believe any of this?

Other Discussion / Re: I just bought two pair of girl's pants
« on: September 08, 2007, 09:41:21 pm »
This topic will remain open as long as you keep your post meaningful, such as why wear girls pants, why buy them, what color, etc.

So, why buy girls pants? o_O

You can buy tight guy pants.

It is against the rules to ask for illegal ROMs.  Though this game was never released it is still property of it's creator.

Guys, stay on topic please.  Emo discussions go elsewhere.

Best kick in the teeth for yoyo games would be to make a fan game with it and do your best.
If they want rights to it, let em'. Then they will be the ones dealing with the copyright infringement charge.
cough...OoT 2D

Anyways I see no reason for the University not to have GameMaker, but I think it's a little to simple for anybody in University...  I knew GML when I was nine.

Woah, looks just like the LTTP version but MC...  That's because that's what it is. XD

Very nice job, the roof shouldn't be too hard, look at other MC roofs.

Nintendo doesn't believe in the GameBoy anymore.

The DS2 is what I'm waiting for.

Entertainment / Re: skate. Demo Discussion

It's fun, it's a great mix up from Tony HAWK, who used to be my boy.  Now though skate. looks like a good mix up.  It's so rewarding to land a trick with the flick it controls, the only thing I didn't like was the camera angle, it's pretty good unless your trying to grind, I always found my character in the way of the bar.

Well lack of updates tend to do that. ;)

EDIT: Yeah I got the message, moved.

From now on this topic is a debate.
