Well, Rare posted 5 different rumours on April Fools and one of the rumours is the correct one which means the story is in one of these 5 things. The answer will probably revealed on Tuesday but we can still discuss which is the right one. Personally, I think Rumour 4 is the correct one.

Rumour One: Banjo and Grunty team up against a new threat, falling in love in the process.
   Sexy post-transformation Grunty makes a return and proves irresistible to our heroic bear, much to Kazooie's disgust. Can the mismatched trio defeat their fire-breathing foe?

Rumour Two: Kazooie is abducted by aliens and Banjo heads out to search the cosmos.
   Partway through his low-gravity exploits, he discovers who's taken her... and it's a familiar face from the Rare archives who has been 'turned to the green side' by Grunty.

Rumour Three: Banjo and Kazooie travel back through time in pursuit of the witch's giant T.I.T.
   Grunty drives her Time Interfering Truck back to before the bear and bird met. The duo must reintroduce themselves and relearn everything they know in a completely new way!

Rumour Four: Banjo comes out of retirement to stop his home being redeveloped into tower blocks and malls.
   To end the struggle, a capricious higher power engineers a bear/witch showdown through worlds of the imagination – with Spiral Mountain's ownership deeds going to the victor.

Rumour Five: War comes to Spiral Mountain, and Banjo becomes a reluctant leader.
   Ever seen a Jinjo Tank? Or Grunty's Grappling Grenadier Grunts? You will when you take on our innovative RTS-platformer hybrid campaign.

Probably. It wasn't until the late 1990's with DP and Kameo though I'm pretty sure. I still wish Rare were with Nintendo though. I'm sure the games would still be good, lol.

It mainly looks like it's going to be 4 or 5. Most likely 4. But I think it would be cool to see 3 because you would get to play from way in the past before they new eachother.

I seriously don't like the look of those new vehicles. :-\

Yeah, and that's still before the MS buy-out. The point is Rare had a few great games and hasn't done anything since, regardless of who pumps money into them.

Back on topic, I'm starting to think that Mumbo's role in the game will have to do with vehicles. The first screenshot shows Banjo on a plane and Banjo on a boat in the second screenshot. The name "Mumbo's Nuts" gives us that fishy feeling about it and something else...

I'm thinking 2, 3 or 4. 5 just doesn't seem right for Banjo.

Guys, 8 more screenshots were leaked. Some featuring even more vehicles. It seems that the game does feature these vehicles. Underneath these screenshots are vehicles some website got I guess or somebody got them from the BK site, I dunno.

I hope the Bear and Bird will still be able to transform. The fact that the game takes place 8 years after Tooie might have changed that. It's good to see Grunty as a head again, lol.

I think they look fine. I could tell Banjo looked more blocky when I saw the screenshot with his arms up. I love the style of this game and I hope everyone would soon enjoy it.

Well, I want to get 360 for other games like GTA4 and Halo 3, but mainly for Banjo since BK is tied with Zelda for my favorite game series.

stupidest post I've seen in a while, Banjo Kazooie = Rare, not nintendo.. If you want to make sense, say you sense rare fanboyism everywhere.

I'm still curious about some things that Rare confirmed though. Some levels from Banjo-Kazooie will be in the game but they will be played a different way or something like that. Some characters from Banjo-Tooie like Mr. Patch, Welder, and Jolly Roger are back. Bottles teaches moves again, Jamjars is gone, Grunty has a new minion, Mr. Vile gets flushed down Loggo and Mr. Vile has grown, either Tooty, Brentilda, or googly-eyed vegetables are coming back (one of the three). I'm just curious about the gameplay now that Banjo drives and pilots vehicles. I'm sure it won't take away from the platforming gameplay but I hope they are in over their heads. I sure hope you can still transform and that Tiptup will have a cooler role in this game (Tiptup is back btw).

Darnit... The 360 has games that I want and this one looks like one I would like to get...

Let's see... Blue Dragon, Gundam Dynasty Warriors, Halo 3 (yeah), and this.

I coulda sworn there were more games I wanted that are X-Box 360 only or at least PS3+360 only.

OMFG BK WAS ORIGINALLY ON N64 BUT NOW ITS ON 360 AND ALL THE NINTENDO FANBOYS LIKE IT WHICH IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SO IM GOING TO POINT OUT THE FANBOYISM ANYWAY BECAUSE DOING THAT SOMEHOW MAKES ME INTERNET COOL
