I found some new information. Seems the title won't be called Banjo-Threeie.

    * Title: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
    * Slated for a November release
    * You create vehicles with parts you find around the levels.
    * There will be 1,600 parts including weapons that you'll be able to attach to the vehicles.
    * The town is called Showdown Town.
    * Despite the large focus on vehicles it still features platform elements from the previous games like traditional platforming, tight rope walking and jiggy piece collecting.
    * Showdown Town is 16 times larger than anything Rare has created before.
    * Every level has a different intro. Nutty Acres begins with a credits spoof of 80's soap operas like Dallas.
    * Note collecting is back and will act has currency that'll allow you to buy vehicle blueprints.
    * Rare says there are 15 different challenges spread across 6 different levels. There will also be side missions.
    * Building vehicles is basically like playing with Lego. You can always jump in and out of the vehicle editor and come right back to the game with the new design.
    * Parts are easily placed and moved around. You don't have to worry about connecting the motor with the wheels for example. Just place everything so they stick together and don't get in the way.
    * Vehicle designs can play a large role in missions.
    * Physics are awesome in this game and everywhere!
    * Pixel art
    * Multiplayer is great fun with the ability to either chose from pre-fabricated or own vehicle designs.

Should be good as long as all the driving/building doesn't eliminate too much of the platforming.

Mario gets decapitated at 01:56-01:58. I guess Rare is mad at Nintendo for selling them.

By the info posted, it looks like we're going to be seeing a new RTS-style Banjo. If that's the case, then... DAMN. I don't really like RTSes.
Except it's not going to be an RTS.

Quote from: Hammer Bro. Mike
Rumour One: Banjo and Grunty team up against a new threat, falling in love in the process.
Sexy post-transformation Grunty makes a return and proves irresistible to our heroic bear, much to Kazooie's disgust. Can the mismatched trio defeat their fire-breathing foe?

Rumour Two: Kazooie is abducted by aliens and Banjo heads out to search the cosmos.
Partway through his low-gravity exploits, he discovers who's taken her... and it's a familiar face from the Rare archives who has been 'turned to the green side' by Grunty.

Rumour Three: Banjo and Kazooie travel back through time in pursuit of the witch's giant T.I.T.
Grunty drives her Time Interfering Truck back to before the bear and bird met. The duo must reintroduce themselves and relearn everything they know in a completely new way!

Rumour Four: Banjo comes out of retirement to stop his home being redeveloped into tower blocks and malls.

To end the struggle, a capricious higher power engineers a bear/witch showdown through worlds of the imagination – with Spiral Mountain's ownership deeds going to the victor.

Rumour Five: War comes to Spiral Mountain, and Banjo becomes a reluctant leader.
Ever seen a Jinjo Tank? Or Grunty's Grappling Grenadier Grunts? You will when you take on our innovative RTS-platformer hybrid campaign.
Rumour 4 is the real story. Rumour 5 is the RTS story rumour but it turns out that it is not going to be an RTS.

I don't know about you guys, but I still think it'd be pretty cool. Sure it probably won't be AS classic as the first two, but it should still be fun. I think it'd be cool to try out all these new vehicles. Perhaps they may have some levels where it's more or less "classic-fied" with no vehicles, but just straight up Jiggy collecting. I dunno...

The Lord of the Games (aka LOG) is tired of the petty squabbling between Banjo and the evil witch Gruntilda (aka Grunty) over the years, and has arranged a showdown to decide the rightful owner of Spiral Mountain.

Hmm...I am a tad disappointed at the trailer...but I still want to play it. I'll refrain from judging it until it comes out.

Seems like a big departure from the previous two.  Of course I couldn't be bothered to go through all the way to the end of either when I had the chance to play them, but I've watched some speedruns.

Either way I won't be able to get this game, so it doesn't matter, but I probably wouldn't buy it anyway.

Looks and sounds absolutely awesome.

The Mario sprite is interesting... it's the first time Mario has appeared on a non-Nintendo console. I wonder if Rare is allowed to do that? Anyway, indeed this game does sound awesome. The vehicle creating and maneuvering and detail of physics in the game is fairly cool. I'm happy to see regular platforming and jiggy and note collecting is still in tact. All Rare need to do is not mess up with any of these cool ideas. Oh please, don't mess up, Rare.

Oh, and "Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts" is kind of dumb title. It reminds me too much of Ratchet and Clank.

Also, November release date n___N. Can't wait to pick it up.
