Yeah, but we're still expecting something new. I think a fighting particle team would be awesome. It's not the characters stripped down, but, yeah.

Anyway, they're story mode characters; I doubt they'll appear in the main game.

Well, that's what I figured the polygon and wireframe teams were, just puppets of the Master Hand and Crazy Hand, although they could have really been anything.  But all three of those groups seem minion-sih to me.

Exactly. Those minions are related to the story, whereas FWF/PT had no explanation- and were quite mysterious.

I completely forgot about the subspace army guys. Now that I remember them, I'm almost certain they're going to be what replaces the polygon/wireframes. Fighting Miis just wouldn't happen.

Fighting mii...not a bad idea actually...But I would like to see some other types of guys. Here is what I think:
Maybe it'll be like texture or skeleton type guys...actually it might be like the fighting wire frames with a complete inner moddeling and weird textures and stuff. I hope that if they make them again instead of just guy and girl, they could make guy, strong/slow guy, Fat/really strong/really slow guy, girl, fast girl, and little girl thats fast but weak. It would add more variation.
