Title: Return of Project of the Month
Post by: MG-Zero on January 01, 2013, 06:59:20 pm: We've decided to bring back Project of the Month! Except now it's become the Featured Project, and will have a 3 month spotlight period. What this means for you guys as developers is more time to show off your project while it has the spotlight.

So, to kick off the start of the first iteration of ZFGC's Featured Project, we're featuring Martijn's Horn of Balance! For details on this one, see the Wiki article!

This will eventually be linked to on the front page...once we figure out how to make said change.

Do we assume it's the same rules (Like for example if a Project became a Featured Project it can't be a Featured Project in the next period)

Btw, is it only Zelda projects?

Although we prefer Zelda projects, no, this is not Zelda only.

Well, XD, yeah good point. We could always rename it, but we've had PotM around for years and it's generally understood that it's a project being showcased for a set amount of time. Should we rename it? I don't personally really care but yeah, 3 months of PotM woot.

I mean it would be an ego-thing, where whoever is working on stuff could maybe try to show off during 4 days of the year maybe? I think "Featured Project" is an optimal compromise, but anyone is willing to do whatever they want

its a good idea gm112, but I doubt that many of us have something to show off 4 times a year, it takes time to make progress that is worth showing off.

Read the first post, I said it's renamed to Featured Project ya dink :P
