I'm at ep 21 now, and I must say I like it, I like it a lot. Still one thing is bugging me, what's the deal 'bout 'orange' (what Zero said to Jeremiah)? 'Tis not really explained so far, so I really am curious. Was it just a bluff on Zero's part, or is there more going on?

42
Well that happened to me quite a few times, usually when I sleep. The most notable one was 'bout Ocarina though, 'cause I was at school when that happened (some other times included Ace Combat and Manhunt).

I just came 'cross an article 'bout three people who went to get their eyeballs tattooed, needless to say they're insane.

By the way does anyone know if the original ocarina of time addon with the n64 dd was a different version then our master quest version? 'Cause I can remember reading that somewhere, not sure if it's true though.
Yes!  It was an "expansion pack" that required the original cartridge.  It was supposed to have a lot of different features, but it was never released (in Japan or out) and we don't have any screenies or anything.
Uhh Possy, that's what Zelda Master Quest has become, lol. It's on Zelda Collectors Edition, and the port of OOT to the GameCube. There's a beta of it floating around with all debugging features enabled.

Well wikipedia states the master quest version is a watered down version of the dd one, so I don't know whether they're the same.

Ah damnit I really would've liked to play the dd version then, I mean master quest was fun but I expected a bit more from it. Still I was satisfied with it 'till now.

Well there was the Ancient Stone Pedal (Kodai no Sekiban I believe) one in the BS series, though it did leak out as roms so I'm not really sure if that one would count.

Well there were some Garfield strips that I actually liked, still these are much better. I especially like the "My toes are jealous of my fingers", the "I am not pathetic", and "Why can't you taste your tongue" ones

I think one major thing they have in common is the cheesiness, same ridiculousness and everything.

True, there are few really good horror films, most are quite funny instead. But then again me and a friend o' mine are the kind of people who can find great enjoyment in seeing people getting torn apart in the movies, so perhaps we're not really the perfect horror audience. Still most are humorous or simply incredibly boring to me (for example the grudge am. version, I could actually predict the entire movie while another bloke from school was so terrified he couldn't sleep for a week).

This does remind me of 'nother story though, my little bro' is someone whos was always talking 'bout sex and the such, so a couple o' years back me and my mom saw a bunch of sex mags at the market. So we bought it and went to give it to him while exclaiming loudly "These sex-mags are for you Dave" needlessly to say he first ran like hell, and afterwards was quite embarrased (he did however put the posters from those mags on his walls and door, probably to regain some of his pride).

As for the guy in the train? Well just strangle him or something. I mean if he wants to watch lolicon it's his choice and that's fine by me, but don't do it in public. That kind of stuff is just pathetic.

Well I've seen it, and I didn't like it much. I mean the acting and decor were great but the singing really annoyed me, not because it was bad, but because of the sheer volume of it.

Well I have one ( me and my brothers are sharing it) but I usually use my ds. The only games on the psp that I like so far are ace combat X and the legend of heroes games, and for the ds there are a lot more (well that and I like the ds homebrew better).

Debates / Re: Religion
« on: February 18, 2008, 01:47:32 am »
Well, personally I believe in a higher power, and an afterlife. I've seen too many things not to (sometimes so-called 'supernatural' in nature sometimes not), and 'sides I agree with a certain theory which explains that there is a higher being. As for some holy script, well I do believe that there is a core of truth in the Bible, or the Koran etc. but I also believe that the book is 'tainted' by humans in the way that it were human beings who wrote it so it is not unbiased. Therefore I cannot totally agree with any religion, but I do believe that there is something greater.

I agree that piracy will continue regardless of law knowledge, I mean here in the Netherlands the court ruled taht privacy was more important than piracy so we can download all we want and no internet provider's going to pass on those records. So the question is: if even the government doesn't really care, why should we then? ('Sides most of my downloads are anime, which are nearly impossible to get here)

Well I saw it a couple o' days back, and I was somewhat disseapointed by it. To me it actually was very predictable, so I was kinda bored. Furthermore I hated it when they offed the dog, you shouldn't off the dog. And the ending, well lets just say that i found it to be very cliché. So all in all, I didn't enjoy this one much.

A long long time 'go when i was still a kid, i watched a certain movie. 'Twas most likely my first anime movie, and i really want to see it again, problem is, however, that i cannot for the life of me remember the title.

The main plot was 'bout a guy that wanted to take over the world using somekind of virus to eradicate mankind, and then use a harem to repopulate the earth (the guy was a total freak though, i mean one o' the gals in the harem was his own sister, talk 'bout a sick individual). Well anyway some agency sent one (well two actually but the guy is usually too late or something like that, we never see him much) agent to stop this plot by retrieving some item (can't remember what it was exactly) which the jolly old chum needs to put his plan in motion. This agent turns out to be the only survivor of a test to give her abilities to control metal (only that of her bra though) and the freak tries to opy that ability and gives it to his sister, unfortunately for them it backfires and she turns into somekind of blob-like monster. She, seeing as she is just as much a freak as her brother, still 'loves' her brother and ends up accidentaly killing him or something like that (story's a little vague in my head here) so the agents escapes, the plan is counteracted and the movie ends.

Basically i really want to see it once more, and i've spent many hours searching. Unfortunately, seeing as i do not know the title i can't find the bloody movie :'( so please help!

Well no, it didn't hurt that much, but then again i get those incidents a lot (once i managed to cut off the lower part of my toe when i went from our yard into my home).
Ouch that must've hurt. I've only cut myself with a katana once and that was around May and had to get 8 stitches..  XD It was due to the saya (sheath) being defective though. When I pulled the katana out, the blade literally went into my hand because I was holding the saya, and if you know anything about how they're made, they're usually two split piece sof wood, carved, and then very tighly secured together. Well, it was not strong and it split and the blade cut me. :(
That does suck, but the blade that went into my foot was because i dropped it, and ofcourse it just had to land richt in my foot

I've got some knives as well, seeing as i collect weapons, but i'm damn glad mine aren't that sharp. I mean they are mostly for display but i do use them sometimes, unfortunately i'm sorta clumsy so if they were as asharp as they should be i'd have lost a couple o' digits. The points however are razorsharp, so i did manage to get one stuck in my foot once :S (and there was that one time when i was playing with the knife of a friend and cut my hand, quite deep). But still 'tis not to be 'manly' or something like that, 'tis more for the collection.
