Just made it due to boredom. 8)

gonna code a mini map for my game XD

Blue room-main area
Dark blue Room- hidden puzzle and items
Green Room-secert items, or clue there

It's very... Inconsistent.

For a 2d game, your actual map (not the minimap) is comprised of I assume 16x16 tiles. That being true, than your minimap should be scaled appropriately to that... IE if you scale it down, you could consider each pixel as being 1 16x16 tile. Etc...

Your map however is very..... random with placement. Player position would never line up correctly on those in a 2d game

Map making isnt my thing XD but I gave it a shot;  Ill go with wat you said.

But the bigger one is for the pause menu lol.

And another small thing, though it may be because of jpeg quality but it wouldn't hurt to make the dots (which I assume are treasure or where the player is or whatever it may be) a bit bigger or atleast make it blink so it'st more noticeable.
