Can someone tell me how to make my boulder so that it randomly moves around but when it hits something, it rebounds?

I need it for Demo 4 of my game.

Also the Boulder rolls on the floor.

I think you should search the manual for direction, and random.

I don't know where to start. I want it to be in coding so I can change it easier. Any ideas?

+It must rebound off objects (Barrier is the object I want it to rebound off)

In create event:

Code: [Select]
motion_add(random(360),<your speed here>)
In collision with barrier event:

Code: [Select]
move_bounce_all(0)
M'kay?  :)

Um, that's a simple (glitchy) piece of code that can be made with two pieces of D&D.
A motion add can be done easier and less glitchy with a x+ and y+ with a direction value and a few lines long.
