Are you actually coding this using Game Maker 5? If so I was unaware that people still were using that. Other than that thanks for posting your project and planning to release your game in both Spanish and English.
Well I'm working on GM5 because I haven't bought the GM Studio yet :)
Nevertheless I don't discard develop another project GM Studio.
Thanks for your comment.

This is very promising.
I am liking it a lot.  I like the basic HUD, too.  It really makes it come together quite well.  I hope for a demo soon? ^-^
Thanks for your comments :). A demo mmm... look I'll release a demo but I want to make a very good demo, not just a piece of the intro and a couple of things more. No, I want to release a kind of dungeon as good as the TLoZ: Just Beginning demo

This week I've been recording some scenes for the trailer and I expect to make some progress this weekend.
Tomorrow I'll publish the list of items I've done and a little introduction to the story of the game.
Greetings!!

Zelda Projects / [New Video] TLoZ: The Cursed Mirror: Update 25th Aug
« on: August 21, 2014, 02:40:38 pm »
Hi guys!!
I decided to close the topic of my last project and start a new one.

As you can see, this fangame is based in the GB style but I added some details from others Zeldas.

Until now I just can show you some pics and a little vid where you can appreciate the transition efect between rooms.

The game will be available  in two languages: Spanish and English so don't worry about the text of the pictures :D

Dude, looks fab, as always.

Will there ban an option to play the game in Spanish? I need to brush up on mine, and would love to practice it while playing your game.
Thanks dude!!
Now answering your question ummm... yes, there will be an option to change the language. Nevertheless this option won't be at the beginning. It will be available in the items menu so you'll be able to change the language to spanish/english whenever you want.
Btw I'm changing the menu items because I need more space to show the description of some items.

I'm back sirs!! And I bring some news.

I just finished the Sword Cave in which you'll get the mystical Wooden Sword ¬¬
This cave is just a little dungeon which you've to find some keys, press some buttons, etc. to get to the end. Something like the Hero's Cave from OOS/OOA.

Now, the screenshot of the day shows you the beautifull moment when you get the Wooden Sword (this time is in spanish)

I'm planning to upload a demo with a little dungeon (perhaps like the Sword Cave)
So that's all folks.

I downloaded the demo lastnight and... well, I think, friendly, your game is my enemy XD. I'm afraid from your Zelda dude XD

Well, about the demo the engine looks very solid, very good job!! The graphics looks great (I love Zelda LA Style) but I think is weird listening sounds from Oot on a GB Zelda.
Other think that I noticed is the knockback of the enemies. Maybe it should be more... ummm powefull.
And that's all. Seriously very good job with the engine. Bravo, sir!!

Thanks a lot for the comments!!
About the icon ummm... the chest won one vote so it's decided: The chest will be the icon of the .exe file (I like it too XD)
Now I'm fixing some gliches I found while I was recording the vids for the trailer. Nothing complicated btw.
Also I'm designing the bosses and I'm doing what I consider is the most complicated thing when you're creating a game: The dialogues.
So that's all.
Thank's, again, for the comments. I really appreciate it

I just can't get enough of these graphics. They are so nostalgic, so perfect!

I really hope the controls are as tight as on the GBC :)
I dunno if the controls are as good as on the LA but now you can see some of playability on the trailer.

Sirs, as I posted a few days ago, finally the trailer is available on the first post so check it and please letme know your comments.

Now, about the game, I'm thinking to use this icon for the .exe

What do you think?? Which one you propose??

Dude, I think we all did significant progress this weekend XD
I've seen the screens (very good work btw) and there's just one thing that... ummm bothers me and it's the textbox haha.
I thing it could be less rpgmaker maybe.

And that, well very good job sir with the screens and the news tilesets.
Greetings!!

The update of the day...

As I mentioned a few days ago, I changed the tileset of the first dungeon for something more gloomy so here you are.
You can see the "bad guy" of the game. Well, you can't see him because he's covered but that's how he looks at the beginning.

Also I aligned some sprites and changed the code of the sword (or the stick).

About progress... I added something like the Tiger Scrolls from MC so throughout the game you can find some new techniques (someones never seen before  :o )

Well, finally the screenshot

And that's all for today.
Greetings for all!!

There's only going to be a few annoying ice moments. A miniboss fight, an optional boss fight (Fire Chapter), an ice room and a boss fight. Oh and the occasional ice blocks you walk on.
You're a monster hahaha. Undoubtedly I'm going to die a lot of times with that boss XD

About the Allusions. Could you put one of Richard or the Ghost from Link's Awakening??

17
What "bad guy"?
Does this mean that there's going to be a unique bad guy in this story?
Hahaha... not, absolutely not. This "bad guy" is the tipical wizard/witch/dark lord/etc who wants to awake/revive/bring back/or something like that to the evilest character (known as Ganon/Ganondorf/Vaati/Bellum).

Aw shame. Sucks to hear. Would've been awesome to have another unique bad guy in a fan game on ZFGC
No no no... please don't try to guess about the "bad guy" of the game.
That's what he wants but... I'm sure you'll be surprised when you could be able to play the game XD

I've implemented the following
-Goriyas with Boomerangs!
-Ice Slipping!
Dude, the entrance to the Frozen Shrine looks very nice. As always  XD

About the slipping... personally I hate it because that makes very hard any dungeon and... I've to recognize but I'm not good with the ice floor XD

Goriyas with Boomerangs!? I really would like to see them.
Very good job sir!

If you don't enjoy it then it is better to quit.
I totally agree with you!!

I think you're experimenting the tipical symptoms of ummmm... lack of ideas when you've come a long way in your project.
But, seriously, I think it would be a shame to see your project being one more of the long list of the unfinished Zelda fan games.
Perhaps you could take a few days or weeks, refresh your ideas and, then, get back to the work dude.
That's my advice
