I am making a Majora's Mask game with Link's Awakening sprites.
I have fallen in love with them at first site, and since Majora's Mask is my favourite Zelda game of all time, I though "why not combine the two?!" :o

Legend:
In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend.  A legend held dearly by the Royal Family that tells of a boy...
A boy who, after battling evil and saving Hyrule, crept away from the land that made him a lengend...
Done with the battles he once waged across time, he embarked on a journey.  A secret and personal journey...
A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend...
A friend with whom he parted ways when he finally fulfilled hi heroic destiny and took his place among legends...

Story:
Thrown into a parallel world by the mischievous actions of a possessed Skull Kid, Link finds a land in grave danger. The dark power of a relic called Majora's Mask has wreaked havoc on the citizens of Termina, but their most urgent problem is a suicidal moon crashing toward the world. Link has only 72 hours to find a way to stop its descent.

I'd get rid of the Majora's mask logo in the background in the file select. It looks good but I think you should redo the hearts. They look a bit big.

(Majora's Mask is becoming cool again. Damn, next is wind waker. Then I have competition, !@#$%!)

Very nice demo, Loved the music :P Except the title screen music was OoT's...and if im right, the hearts and that mask in the demo title screen are rips from the actual game itself right? Cause they look like the ones from the game ;)

Anyways, ill be a tester if you want?

I didn't get to far really, I have all the REGULAR tiles, but I still need a few sprites for Clock town
and I am waiting for something to start making this game... but I am not saying what I am waiting for ;)

What i was saying in Oracle of Life was that like on majoras mask how at the end the moon battle was it you should make like secret masks or weapons when you beat it so basically you play the game through twice. I'd try to do it myself but i suck im still learning how to make them :-[. And like make it able to go back to kokiri forest too! that would rock!

Why u don't change the style of your game, every MM we have are done in GB style. Try to be original and make it in lttp, which is the best style I think to represent this game.

I still have to put one.
I took off my other demo because it had SpriteCollector's sprites on it, and I have to recpect that they are his, and he doen't want anyone to use them for n reason.
but I hope to have a demo later...(don't know when)

yes, thank you for your guide images, but I already have the Prima's 2000 official guide.  It has detailed maps but the guide misses a TON of things..

EDIT: actually though, if you have interior maps, of at least SOME, then I'd love those.  If you don't that fine :)

Why are the hearts so big on the HUD? They should be small to fit the actual resolution.

Ya, I know, I'm trying to resolve that :\

EDIT:
Alright people, the time has come..  I know people think that the screenshot is an easily made mockup, but it's not.  So to prove my worth, I am going to through together a walking demo, where you can change what sword you have, etc.  But you have to be patient, I still have to program the other menu screens.  So you may expect it soon.
But not too soon, because my Dad hates it when I am on the computer too much, and he kicks me off :-\

I think you might have to make an (free) account there, but they have a few strategy guides.
Zelda Legacy is an awesome site. You should play at the arcade, a guy named Mases (owner of Zelda Dungeon) has 6 high scores for 6 of the games.

Anyway, yeah you should make the hearts smaller. :)

I dunno why, but I feel as if the clock's kinda intrusive.

Wait, I think I do now... In the GB games, all the status info was on a pale bar on the top (or bottom, in LA's case). What do you think about putting the info in bars? The only thing is that the hud will transform into LA's rather than MM's... :/

Either way, just a suggestion- Good luck with your project! :D If you need sprites, I've found a few sites with custom GB sprites, if you want to see them...

Well the production is definatly going well, but I don't want to work on it right now.
I want to work on my Fan game: Forbidden Kingdom. So untill I finish it, or get a good hunk of that game completed/finalised, then I will start working on this project once again.
Until then, this topic will be locked.

PS:  This doesn't mean that I will be canceling this project, just a break to work on my own fan game :)
