Nah its a common misconception though :P but they limited themselves with the textures; and made them cartoony to match the cel shading

If the world were cel shaded it would look horrid :x


^The only thing thats cel shaded in that is the water, and link :p

you mean, the water, and teh "characters" ( not only link )

Link can now slash his "sword" in all eight directions. And I say sword in the most figurative sense, since he's actually just swinging his empty arm around like a crazy person. :P

Zidane, yes it will be using the top-downish view. That way I don't have to worry about camera rotations and such. Call me lazy. :P

EDIT: Okay, so since the video came out pretty bad (Youtube's fault, not mine), I'm going to brush it up and just give you a demo. :) Sword will be included, so Link won't be swinging his nothing.

Ooh, Link got a sword. :D Soapy couldn't find the real Wind Waker sword, so I made my own, textures and all. I don't think it came out too bad.

I can't wait for a demo. This game looks amazing.

I've actually been having 3d zelda thoughts invading my mind since I started playing phantom hourglass.

I loved the cursed temple mechanics. When I saw this thread I was kind of hoping you might be trying to make some cursed dungeons.

I can just imaging playing through a cursed dungeon with a couple of friends (imagine all the crazy stuff you could do in a cursed temple with multiple players) teasing phantoms etc.

Anyway I love the cursed temple mechanic of Phantom Hourglass and I love where this game is going. I can't wait to play a demo.

Did I mention that you are my hero for starting a 3d zelda fangame?

Mmmm... I love the shading style. Buuuut...

I was wondering... Is it possible that you could maybe possibley add outlines perhaps...? I think it coud look reaaally awesome with outlines.

Well, Unity comes with an outline shader, but it doesn't usually look... good. I'll give it a try and tell you what I think.

EDIT: Sorry man, it doesn't really turn out well. If anything it makes him look less AAd than he is. :P
