So, I just started downloading Maple Story (Still downloading >_>), and I was wondering if it is any good?
One of my friends on MSN told me its good, but I don't know.
What do you guys think? should I play it? Is it a good game?

It's the kind of game that is fun for the first day you play it (maybe 2 days), but then you realise that it is extremely shallow and boring and flat out bad.

I've played it different times.
For me, I find it gets boring once you realize how long it takes to level.

Seriously, Maple Story is fun when you have a few friends, and even then it gets boring once you realize it takes a whole day of playing to level, sometimes. Now they're making a Maple Story DS? Ugh.

I usually get bored of MMORPGs within the initial half-hour or so. :/ Maple Story was no different.
Basically, it's a flat platform RPG "game".

Maple Story is, for lack of better words, the only thing that could potentially be worse than Gaia. If you want a real MMO, check out Silk Road Online. (http://www.silkroadonline.net) I play it, it's awesome, so it's better.

Agreed, even if Source finds it enjoyable. It might be a fun game, but no free game will ever give you the experience of a true, paying MMO. They are almost always better. Likewise I've found quite a few paid MMOs that really suck, too...but I think it's obvious what I'm saying.

How can you honestly say someone will or will not probably like something with no other knowledge of the game other than your own opinion. If your going just by that than you and Source are both right. And wrong. What I'm saying is you can't state that he will "probably will not like it", just because you don't. :-*

I think i can, seeing as how i did. I'm saying he probably won't, seeing as how SRO is no different then any other free MMORPG. It's the same crap over and over again. It has no redeeming factors. I don't give a !@#$% if he wants to try it, i was more making a guess that he probably won't like it.
