Hey ppls.

How would I make certain types of backgrounds I want to be animated?
Would I have to load them externaly, with the animation already there?
or can I do it from inside the game maker?

I already searched in this forums, and I don't want to search in the game maker's forum, becuase it is WAY too big and full of topics... lol, sorry..
Thanks in advanced

Love

Animated backgrounds, eh? The only way I see it can be done is having multiple versions of that background and switch them accordingly. Though, you can always load the background in as a sprite and use it like a background. (This is my personal way. I load all images in as sprites and make my own tiling scripts and stuff.)

[Edit]
I actually remember writing a tutorial for this. I will check if I still have it.

As piers said. What I wouldn't do is use sprites. I'd have separate backgrounds, each with different frames of the animation, and switch them to make an animation.
