That's a good idea, not that Nick's vocals are bad. It'd just be interesting to hear some other takes on it. Anyone who's up for it can download the instrumental file from the soundcloud page. I actually prefer the instrumental by itself though, I just think it gives the listener a nice chance to soak up all the layers and really appreciate them without focusing on anything else like lyrics or the voice.
There are two layers for the first verse: chords and finger picking. Second verse has four layers: chords, finger picking, lead solo, bass solo (just kinda lower notes, still a guitar)
