What's your favorite RPG

My favorite RPGs are probably the Mother series, Fallout 3, and Mass Effect. What about you guys? MMOs don't count.

Assuming Pen & Paper RPGs count, D&D 3.5E

If they don't, then it's Dragon Age: Origins, hands down. Followed by Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, and the Baldur's Gate series

Kingdom Hearts II

EDIT:  I really abhor the term "Role-playing game" however-- its totally meaningless.  You play a role in EVERY game you play, most games have deep stories and upgradable parts/stats these days-- RPG is becoming less and less specific.  And if you limit it to turn based games only, then some of my favorite rpgs are no longer rpgs.

I would have to say it's a tossup between Chrono Trigger and FFX for me... I really loved FFX for it's cinematic approach, and CT just kept me on my toes throughout the entire thing. I loved it.

There are a few others that I really enjoyed, like Seiken Densetsu 3, but yeah.

Hmmm... I think my top three are Chrono Trigger, FF9, and FF10...  I just got a chance to play FF10, and I absolutely love it, I'm just not sure if I like it more than the other two...

I really enjoy Fable, but it was... incredibly short.  And now that I think about it, Angband is probably my favourite.

Quite a few RPGs I like, but I'd have to say Chrono Cross, Persona 3 FES, Final Fantasy 6, and  Tales of Symphonia are at the top of the list.
