I am amazed.  This looks rather good, and would fit well in a WW-GB remake, especially since GB style can't do cel-shading very well.

Although, what Nintendo did wasn't REALLY cel-shading.

Anyway, that looks awesome, and you should make walking animations.  Mostly because it would look really cool.

Yeah, making gb-style sheet wouldn't even be that hard. (few frames per animation).

i have to hand it to you, makes me want to go back to GB :P
and no, he cant make the hat blue, unless he splits the sprites into two, and he gets 3 more colors
and in that case he could just do the head itself in another color
