WTF is wrong with Firefox?

Ok I get home from school, get on teh intarwebz and Firefox just blows up on me and has a weird error:



Anyone having a similar problem? I'm gonna try reinstall it in a second and see what happens.

No I just reinstalled it and it's normal again. I still want to know what the hell is up with that error.

I've had it before, and on XP no less. I'm not sure how it happens, but the only way I could fix it was to reinstall Firefox.

It probably didn't shut down properly last time and an important file went corrupt. Or something along them lines?

Yeah it only did this on certain sites, I only checked on my bookmarks and the only two sites I could go to were Yahoo and TV Links. I've never seen that kinda of error before...

For future reference for other people with this problem, the issue is the site advisor for mcafee firewall.

The solution is to disable it.

I've had issues with that extension as well, so even though it's useful I'd suggest removing it if Firefox starts acting weird.

you think that's strange mine just crashes at random sites!

The problem has a persistent variable:
