I also heard that there is an X-Men origins: Magneto in the making, which would also tell the story about how the boy Erik Lensherr would become the despot Magneto. Or did they scrap that idea.

They did.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men_(film_series)#X-Men_Origins:_Magneto

Both Donner and Bryan Singer have stated that Magneto will probably not be produced, as the plot of X-Men: First Class "supersedes" the story of the planned film. Elements of the Magneto screenplay were incorporated into the X-Men: First Class screenplay.

Graphics / Re: OOT2D Map Project
« on: February 01, 2011, 11:18:44 pm »
I made this recolour yesterday and I almost didn't post it because I noticed you said you were trying to avoid making the area too monochrome. But to be honest it's a desert and it's kinda supposed to be brown-ish/tan-ish. Those red bricks looked really odd, and Eleo's recolour seems a bit too dark.

I also want to point out that a lot of your mountain tiles are using slightly different shades of brown and that should be fixed.

Evidently not, as after a quick search I've found videos and tutorials on how to make it region free.

I never liked Tingle....ever. Thought his map making crap in MM was stupid. Just give me a complete overworld map please, kthxbai.

Yet nobody ever complains about the fish guy who you have to hunt down in 49 different squares to complete the world map in the Wind Waker.

Y'all are just racist against faeries, admit it. You hate Tingle and you hated Navi too!

I looks a lot like Kirby 64, but with prettier graphics. Which is a good thing (if you like Kirby 64). I was never that into Kirby, except for Kirby Air Ride. That game was fun, especially City Trial multiplayer.

Why did you buy a game with Tingle on the box?

Because Tingle is awesome.

Psyduck & Golduck - PLATYPUSES!

...
Yes, I'm also aware that Golduck is intentionally similar to the (typically more reptilian)
Kappa of Japanese folklore, but this is an article about the natural world, not the
supernatural, and Golduck clearly has a primary animal basis.

Naw, I think Golduck is clearly a Kappa, dumbface.

It makes me wonder who of you knows of Boney M and who likes their songs?

I've heard of them, but I only know their song Rasputin. I'm not exactly into disco.

It would still be fun, even if there's no full dungeons or anything.

But, yeah. The game seemed like it had alot to do but I wanted to play the aPRG side of it...I got wrinkly saggy nuts in 2 hours :(

Lemme guess, you spammed magic? A major problem I had with the first game was using will powers ages your character sillyfast, in an attempt to make them cliche'd-wizardly...

I don't know if they changed this for the later games, since I've never played them.

That's not entirely true. Your character ages by the same amount for each skill you raise, whether they're magic skills or other. But since there's so many spells, you will get pretty old if you raise all of them to the highest level. So if you don't want to get too old, don't level up the spells that you'll never use (they're not all that useful anyway).

There's one way to get your character slightly younger again, by donating a lot to the Temple of Avo (I think that's what it's called, iirc). You're only supposed to get this benefit once (it will lower your age by a random amount), but by exploiting the Hero Save you can keep reducing your age back down to 18.

I haven't played Fable II or III either, but I read that your character doesn't get as old in those games.

I was personally thinking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkVF4LZK4co
When I saw the title. Then I read the topic :(

It's like the DS Pokémon games. I'd play that.
