It's an Anime movie and not that uncommon so you've probably seen it, but "Grave of the Fireflies" is an apparently (according to a friend of mine) an effective measure of whether or not you have a soul. Basically, if you don't cry at the end you have no soul. I didn't cry (wanted to but couldn't), so...

Johnny Got His Gun is a very good movie, believe I made a short-lived topic about it earlier. Again, nearly cried at the end but didn't.

Battle Royale, again you've probably seen it but it is very good.

The book also offers and in-depth look at the deep thought process that allows the entire experiment to work: the uncertainty that creates some of the bloodshed. Logged
