[The Legend of Zildo] Episode 1 extended

It's a work in progress project, based on "Link to the Past", which features 2 ways of playing : single (with history) and multiplayer, which is a deathmatch arena. This is the most interesting feature, in my opinion. You can run it under Windows XP/7, Linux and MacOS. All done in Java. I just posted a video from a cinematic of the game. It shows two people in a dark forest facing together to get a ransom back.

Yes it is ! Zildo is in the place !

I just wanted to keep the Zelda's spirit, because I love this universe. But my goal was also to provide a personal thing.
By now, it's not really achieved, but I'm working on it ! Soon I'll release the 1.095 with a real episode for single player.

Did you try the game ? I'm really interested about feedbacks.

If you want any users to pay much attention to this project, I suggest embedding screenshots and adding a little bit more in the way of a description of the project - what you can do, what features are available, etc.

I'm aware that you're not entirely a native English speaker, but there's a bad connection with "ildo". xD The equivalent french-word I'm thinking of right now is "un godemiché or godemichet", if that gives you an idea of what we're trying to say.

Though I look forward to seeing screenshots and it is nice to see a Linux game on here!

Hey, I'm worried about your comments ;) Indeed, I'm french and I never realized that, but when you translate, it's getting crystal clear ! You make me think : maybe it's time to change his name !

By the way, I updated the description into this site yesterday, and I'll upload the last release too, because I've seen that the 10mb limit is over.

Thank you guys, and if you have suggestions about a better name, that's cool !

Well I checked out your video and I must say, good job on writing a fully functional ALTTP-like engine in Java. :) The only turn off so far was the music.

Yes I ripped everything, except for the music ! It's from my own, because I like composing. But I kept some classic Zelda's melody like the http://noproblo.dayjo.org/ZeldaSounds/LTTP/LTTP_ItemFanfare.wav or the http://noproblo.dayjo.org/ZeldaSounds/LTTP/LTTP_Secret.wav. It couldn't be a Zelda without them !

LOL don't worry bud, we know it's not a porn game. If you want to keep the same feel playing on the "Zelda" name being slightly different, why not try:

-Zoldo
-Zaldi
-Zald
-Zaldo
etc.

The game itself looks pretty good so far though :)

I was thinking about Zoldi ... but it sounds alien, to me. Maybe Zaldi. Doesn't it remember any sexual thing ? I become suspicious now !
