Get a Colombian machete!  :)  I have one in my garage.  They're great!

Entertainment / Re: I just Beat Guitar Hero Aerosmith for the wii
« on: July 11, 2008, 12:15:49 pm »
This game was decent, but easy like all of the other guitar hero games :(

Now I haven't played GH Aerosmith, but I have played all the other Guitar Hero games, and they're not easy.  There's always a challenge.  Beat TTFATF on Expert?  Five-star it?  100%?  Stuff like that.  :P

I have no interest in any version of this game.

Aerosmith sucks, in my opinion. I'm holding out for Guitar Hero 4, which is sure to be a better Wii experience. Vicarious Visions are giving it their all, and that means downloadable content on Wii (Super Mario Bros. theme, here we come!), and a complete online mode where you can compete with 360 and PS3 players. GH4 looks better than Rock Band in my opinion. Did I mention GH4 will be released BEFORE THE ORIGINAL ROCK BAND game in Australia? Screw Rock Band, imo.

I couldn't agree more.  :)

Metal Gear Solid definitively.  A close second would be Metal Gear Solid 4.

Why?  The first one is still the best sneaking game ever with the best plot twists, story, etc.  MGS4 has the best gameplay mechanics (IMO) and it looks absolutely gorgeous.  It also sums up everything so seamless.
Best plot twists?

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

MGS3 had more plot twists than 1 did.
I still say that MGS2 has the most brain twisting plot twists in the series.

You are mixing good and more together.  All I was saying is that MGS had plot twists that where really significant to me.  MGS3 had more, yes, but they didn't mean as much to me as the MGS ones.  All in all, MGS affected me more than any of the other games, especially with these plot twists.  I'm talking about the quality here, not the quantity.

What DO YOU think is the hardest metal gear solid game? and why? I think it is two with all the fatman crap that took me forever 8)

Metal Gear Solid 2.  I can't aim with that sense....  :-X

I would move on to plan b in my life, if I had the opportunities.  If I was with a very special woman at that time (which I probably would she'd potentially be conceiving my child), I would listen to her.  If she rejected me I'd move to some tropical island to live on weed and coconuts.

I do it.  I think it's because it relaxes me.  I have heard that it is "unconscious masturbation", though.  XD

Nunchuck + Wiimote = 60 dollar controller.  I'd much rather use any other type of controller, one that is already in one piece, and cheaper.

It does have rumble though, unlike the Sixaxis....  :P

I am actually really stoked about this.  I've never really been a Blizzard fan until I got Starcraft.  Apart from that I remember playing demos from the first Diablo series when I was little, and also some Warcraft 2.  I've been playing alot of Warcraft 3 recently at internet cafés with my friends, so that definitively something I have to buy.  I also got Diablo 2 from a buddy the other day, and I just installed it, so I have stuff to do in wait for this and Starcraft 2.  :)

Well there'll just be another gamedraught until the next Zelda or something, then Nintendo will be strong again.  If those 3rd Partys just could get their !@#$% thumbs out of their fat asses....

This game really seems pointless to me. There's only 4 buttons now, and only 2 songs I'm interested in playing. Sure it'd be something to do on the go, but still, it seems like it'd be too easy. And how the hell would you be able to do lefty flip? Just a lot of things for this game just aren't clicking for me. And also:
Tier 1 - Subway:
Ok Go - Do What You Want
No Doubt - Spiderwebs
Jet - Are You Gonna Be my Girl On Rockband
Blink 182 - All the Small Things On Rockband
Twisted Sister - We’re Not Gonna Take it

Tier 2 - Rooftop:
Nirvana - Breed
Smash Mouth - All Star
Rick Springfield - Jessie’s Girl
Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot On Guitar Hero III
Maroon 5 - This Love

Tier 3 - Parade:
Los Lonely Boys - Heaven
Bloc Party - Helicopter On Guitar Hero III
The Doobie Brothers - China Grove
KISS (cover by Line 6) - Rock and Roll All Nite On Guitar Hero III
Daughtry - What I Want

Tier 4 - Greek Arena:
Jet Airliner (cover by Wavegroup) - Steve Miller Band
Black Magic Woman (cover by Line 6) - Santana On Guitar Hero III
Stray Cat Strut - Stray Cats
La Grange (cover by Line 6) - ZZ Top On Guitar Hero III
Youth Gone Wild (cover by Wavegroup) - Skid Row

Tier 5 - Battleship:
Ozzy Osbourne - I Don't Want to Stop
Incubus - Anna Molly
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Knock me Down
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Pride And Joy On Guitar Hero III
Lynyrd Skynyrd (cover by Wavegroup) - I Know A Little

Bonus
I Am Not Your Gameboy - Freezepop
Guess what? All The Small Things was in Donkey Konga before Rock Band! The set list is good, what does it matter if a few of the tracks have been featured in other games before?

Not alot of people that have Guitar Hero have Rock Band anyways....

SK and Dyack can go suck a tree. Twin Snakes sucked, and so did Eternal Darkness. I'm not expecting much from Too Human.

Is there any optimism in you?  What sucked about Twin Snakes and Eternal Darkness?

I'm considering Too Human as I type.

I can't help to point out that Too Human is being developed by Silicon Knights, which as you probably know are the creators of Eternal Darkness, which I know that you reviewed.  I don't know if you've played any of their other games, but they're quality stuff.  Especially MGS: Twin Snakes.... *drool*

But you I'd keep an eye on it, cause it seems pretty cool.  I hope they make a PS3 port if it turns out to be good.  Anybody know anything about SK's relationship with Sony?
