Hey I'm wandering which Zelda game that's 3D Should I remake? OoT,MM (my other one was cancelled it was bald and wasn't worth it, I'v learnt how to use detail so I can make good ZC quests), WW or just remake a 2D one with better graphcs. Post your opinions!

You should redo Wands of Gamalon in 3D. J/K.

I've actually always wanted to see a remake or Zelda II in Zelda I style. :dance: :tek:

in gm I'd consider a remake acceptable, but in ZC I cant get excited at all about remakes, infact Im only interested in a few of the cutom quests in ZC

Honestly? Don't remake any. OoT, MM, TWW, I've seen it all and it never excites me any more. Make you're own quest, something that will suit the ZeldaClassic program. Make up your story, your own characters. Go nuts.

Yes. that's a very good point. Before anything else, you should make sure you understand the basics of a language. Which leads me to my next point - ZC=no thanks. Try to learn GML, it's a nice basic language and you get the hang of it, pretty easy.

 As HoF said, make your own game. Remaking a game means you have to follow someone elses story, someone elses characters, someone elses maps, etc. To make a game, you shouldn't be restricted by rules, let your ideas come to life instead of another guys.

 If you do remake a game, remake the game but keep the storyline. It would be intresting to see an Oot with all new areas and temples, maybe the same areas but totally re-orginized. (Enemies in different places, keys and chests have harder puzzles, etc)

Don't make remakes. The chances of someone finishing a zelda fangame are pretty slim, but finishing a 3d zelda game in 2d? Even slimmer.

Gah, sorry, was driving me nuts.

Anyway, I agree that an original quest is better. Think about it, the expectations are A LOT lower and you can set all the goals and such yourself.

ZC is to limited to re-make a 3d Zelda game in 2d I say make your own custom quest in ZC.

Yes, but besides of the chances to finish a normal little Zelda-game, think of the fame you'll get! "Just" make a Zelda with three temples, the usual items (bow/arrow, hookshot, bombs etc) and a basic storyline. Doesn't sound special? Dude, if you'd finish something like that, you'd have the fame of the first person to ever finish an actual Zelda-game (I know there were some out before... but how many? Two? Three?).
