well...um...can you give me the money?
lol like i said there isnt much to it yet, thats why its in pre-production and ideas but I've been editing the Link model, to seperate his sword, sheild and *cough* left arm. Adding better textures and everything, lol I'm actually doing this alone and don't have much free time, maybe if i could get some other people interested I could go further, I'll post in the  recruiting topic later

That looks really good, but the only thing I don't like is the clouds. They don't really seem to match the rest of it...

No, I'm from Northern England lol and as for a horse, I dunno, maybe, right now i'm just trying to get it looking good and links movement natural, did anyone ever notice how impossible links moves are in OoT? when he unsheaths his sword the arm movement is impossible, it goes from behind his left shoulder to a slice right to left....which is odd. On the note of odd, i still cant get the little !@#$% to roll forward, not sure what i'm doing wrong...

As for the clods, you're quite right, once again they are temporary, hopefully i'll have some nice high res pics at the end of the day

hmmm, no i was thinking of something along the lines of the temple of time but with a light themed dungeon on the other side of that doorway, the item in there is going to be a lamp so most of the dungeon will be dark (like the underground passage way out of the palace in ALttP or the mysterious woods in The Minish Cap)

I love it anyways. Like, I've said before, what i've done is simple but it's my own script, well it started out as an A6 template but I found that it was ahuge pain in the ass editing it so I just threw everything out and started from scratch.

Go to med, open your model, View, Skins, Edit and create mdl skin, export to bitmap and the use a pain program to colour it in, once its done choose import skin and choose the image you just coloured. Or use 3D Studio Max with the 3ds-max plug-in.

Another double post but this is worth me getting a warning should it happen, the crappy textures and whatnots of the old screenshots are no more! I'm rebuilding the world from the ground up (pun intended) using 3D World Studio and the hires textures from the OoT mod. screenshots and a walking/running/rolling demo com as soon as I figure out why 3D World studio refuses to export to an A6 world object. I think you'll all be impressed with how the new look is coming and if you want to help out please please look in the Recruitment topic with the same name as this topic.

Okay, spent hours making terrain, i used 3D World Studio to make the terrain, the textures are from another program and finally Bryce was used to add the sky. Now if only 3D World Studio would convert the damned .3dw to A6 .wmp format we'd be cookin with gas. I'd like to point out that this landscape is pretty big and probably won't be used in the final game but i will include it in a demo sometime over the weekend providing i can export the blasted thing. The demo will show realistic cloud movement, lense flare, realistic running and walking physics and a rolling animation that i just plain can't get to work properly lmao. Anyways tell me what you think.



yes it really is as big as it looks, spent hours making heightmaps and matching up each part of the terrain. hopefully if i get some decent tree models they'll be put in for variation too.

Nice terrian you have there mate, good quality, kind of makes me wanna look into game studio, but I have enough 3D engines as it is ;) Good luck with this, it looks like a cool start. I don't see anything in the lines of gameplay from those screens, but will look forward to seeing that later.
