Got a question. Some years ago, I watched an exciting tv series that really intrigued me. I've never really gotten around to watch it the series entirely. It was similar to Lost, but somewhat older. I'd like to see it again, but I forgot its name. If someone is able to identify the series, please do so in this thread.. I'd be really grateful :)

Here's what happened: In the first episode, a plane crashed down in a jungle and most of the passengers were killed. From that point onward, the series focused on the survivors who were trying to keep themselves alive. That involves befriending a clan of indigenous people.

Some specific details:
- In the first episode a fat passenger is killed by an aggressive tribe
- In one episode, two guys try to sail beyond the "end of the world" (a huge waterfall) on a raft
- A woman refuses a marriage proposal by the chief of above mentioned friendly clan.

No, it's not Lost. This series features a plane crashed in the middle of a landlocked jungle. The plot of Lost takes place on an island.

Thanks for helping, but I think the problem has been solved: the series is named Amazon.

After inserting numerous strings into Google, I finally ran into this search result.
