Hyrule,
once a peaceful country, but now..
A country lost in strife, where peace is merely a distant memory.
A memory few of us can claim to have these days.
The beginning of this strife has been but a year ago,
yet now it seems that al we knew was war.
The beginning of our story however, began many years ago.
A greedy man got his hand on a sacred relic, the relic known as the Triforce.
With the nigh unlimited power he had attained,
this man, the one who became known as Ganon, 'the Unholy Beast'
began what would later be known as the War of Imprisonment,
at the end of which he was caged.
Ages have passed since then, and the people became lax and forgot the legend.
During this time the Seal on the cage began to weaken, until, one night, it was broken.
With this the terror it had contained was unleashed,
to once again bring darkness to this world.
And now, a year into this new war against an ancient foe, there is but one speck of hope.
Our queen, the Lady Zelda...
Her reign was supposed to be one of peace and harmony, yet it became one of struggle.
Even so she struck back against the Beast and held him of until now.
Yet even now in our hearts we know our struggle is futile,
for our only real chance of a victory is the Line of Knights.
This line, that has produced many heroes, is the only thing that can stop Ganon.
However only one person hails from this great Line,
and unfortunately for us that person has chosen to aid the Beast.
The reasons for his decision we do not know, and right now it is useless to speculate.
All we can do now is hope that the Lady succeeds in her quest,
And manages to defeat both the Hero, and the Beast...
You are Zelda, Queen of Hyrule during these perilous times.
Will you take up the challenge and embark on a quest to destroy the evil?
Or will you wait to see the destruction of your home?
Either way, you will have to make the decision now.
Yes? Very well then.
Go, go and forfill your Destiny,
the Destiny that will give you the title of one of Hyrule greatest queens.
Some ideas are really random, i got this one for example while taking a shower.
All in all this will most likely remain at the stage of an idea, but who knows.
