wondering 'bout a weapon

Yesterday I bought a weapon, and I really want to know what this type of weapon is called.
Here are some photo's of the weapon.

it's the green one




both in a closed and opened state

Can anyone tell me the name of this thing?

Didn't the place where you bought had the name of it (considering it has a name better than "staff with a blade inside")?

looks like the things gerudos use....scimitars or something aren't they called?

...and shouldn't you have asked before you bought it :P

Damn man, you could kill an army with all those weapons o_o.
I'd say that's just somekind of sword or blade. I wouldn't call the scimitars, because they are more like swords, but a bit curved.
Those are somekind of Japanese blades.

Well what can I say, I like weapons ( I have my sights set on a crossbow now though that one might take a while), and I do believe it is an japanese blade, considering the guy had mostly japanese blades

As for asking what it was, well I bought it on the black market, so the guy who sold it had no idea what it was either (which suited me fine 'cause now i bought it for 30 euros, and who knows what the price was if the guy had any idea what it was?) therefore I had no idea what it was.

I think it's just a regular old twin sword that that seemingly combines into one object when sheethed into eachother. It's quite comparable to this

I believe you are right, except for some minor differences they are very much alike(the differences being that on mine there are no buttons, and my blades are slightly different). thanks

Dunno 'bout that, I never played SC:3, but I really love this thing. I mean even when it's closed it's heavy enough to bash someones head in, so it's a great weapon.
And soon (I hope next week or so) I'm gonna buy a souba replica (Kadaj's blade), I really love that thing as well.

That's Setsuka, she had an umbrella that was really a sheathed sword, because she's like an undercover assassin type person.

What kind of Staff Drew? Wooden? Metal? Magic? I have the first one. Wooden. Well. I dont, but I have a forest in my back yard filled with trees and I have tools in my basement so I could whip something up and I could use the cash. Because I are greedy. (please be a wooden one)
