France were disapointing against Swirtzerland. The Swiss team did play well though.

Brazil against Croatia now, not much to choose between the two teams right now 'part from Kaka's goal.

XD agree, i do sa y Italy and Chez republic will pass to next round <.< the same as mexico, and portugal, mexico should get to 4, then be eliminated... ;_; Usa has a bad team, i tought they were better, portugal has a good team this year :P

Hahahah, Ronaldo was soo funny (and fat).

Brazil had a few nice plays though. Australia/Croatia/Brazil fighting to go through, should be interesting. Hehe, they're comparing England with Brazil right now, both sucking...but winning their games.

There's been quite a few games with late goals in so far, like yesterday with England, Sweden and Germany too actually. It's weird, maybe all the less experienced countries just can't keep up the concentration for the full 90 minutes. But what a goal from Gerrard yesterday though! great shot.

If England keep Downing and Lennon on the wings, I think they could go pretty far. They make the team a lot more exiciting, when they weren't on, it was all 'do a long ball...oh, and lose the ball..' - sucks.

For another side, we had a lot of early goals at the first round... As I remember... Germany, England, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, scored goals really quickly...

I am not a big fan of football, but I watched the South Korea game today.  There were a lot of injured people.  The game ended up tied at 1-1, but that was controversial.  One of the goals attempts that was blocked by the South Korean keeper was actually a goal.  He jumped back to get footing and blocked the ball while inside the goal.  That would have left Italy at 2-0, which would have secured a win based on a good lead and lingering player anxiety.

The one goal by the South Koreans was awesome though.  First a guy kicks it near the keeper perimeter.  Another guy headbutts it while in midair at the goal.  I think an opposing player then tried hitting it away, but another Korean came out jumping, tapped it with his foot in midair, and the ball sailed into the net.  It was !@#$%-tastic.
