Um, I miss that Emoticon set. I was using it and I was a bit annoyed that it wasn't copied over after Area51. Entertainment / I require help with Spellforce: The Order of Dawn.

Here are my issues.

- The game is auf Deutsch.
- I went through the files with a hex editor, and it has an English translation.
- There is no option to switch to the English language.

I've heard there's a patch that allows it, but I can't find it.

So, uh, yeah, I'm kinda looking for a freeware memory editor. One that can dump the entire memory for a certain application would be good. Can anybody find one? Uh, yeah, this is for decompiling a GameMaker EXE, but I can assure you, it's not for purposes of myself stealing the code - I want to help somebody who lost the source for their game by decompiling their latest demo EXE. With permission, of course.

Yeah... I saw that the hearts are now invisible, and I reasoned that we're not meant to see them anymore, but... I can still see them in the PM inbox. For the record, I'm using the Royal Green theme.

Yeah, the code box in Royal Green is a shade of light grey, and the text in the code box is white. Ouch, hard to see without highlighting. For example, follow this link and look at the quote below.

I was viewing the member list and noticed that .TakaM's post count reads "leet". No, not 1337, that I could understand. It says the word "leet". If you don't believe me, view the memberlist yourself.

I mean, what's up with that? Is it some weird mod to change the number 1337 into leet or something? Is it a bonus of the Royal Green theme? Tell me, please.

I know that in 2005 invaderlupus won with The Wanderer (when the fux is that game going to be made, lupus) and that in 2006 Discuss won, but I can't remember who made Discuss. Was it Fox?

Picked up a pack of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess trading cards from Gamestation for £1.50. I got Shad (card O16), Ooccoo (card O49), and Morpheel (card B29). I also got a shiny card "Bugs for Agitha" (card S10).

Anybody else collect these cards?

Graphics Requests/Archive / [Solved] Can somebody please make this into an icon?

Yeah... me has just got Vista, 'n' I was installing some of my normal applications when I looked at my desktop and noticed the nice 256x256 icons... shame Firefox and GIMP and stuff don't have them . So I went around and found a nice 256x256 Firefox icon and started using that.

But what about GIMP? What then?

Well... I guess I'll need to make an icon. 'Cept GIMP itself can't make huge Vista icons, so I was wondering if somebody else would volunteer to do it .

Graphics Requests/Archive / [Solved] Logo needed

Yeah. Uh, recently I started a new forum called The Café Gallifrey. It's a Doctor Who fanforum. Now, the thing that's been bugging me a bit is the lack of a logo for the board .

So I'm looking for a logo... kay? If you don't understand me so far, then you probably can't make a logo anyway, so you can save yourself the trouble of reading the rest .

Now, I'm looking for a size of around 768x90. I would like the background image to be the spaceship and sun from this image. There should be text on the logo, looking handwritten, should be in white (maybe a bit of glow, if possible). It should say "The Café Gallifrey".

Final piece of information about the logo: I'd like there to be some grey scanlines on the image, identical to the ones on my avatar.

I think these censors are "over-censoring", if ya catch my drift. I was astonished that I couldn't event post cr*p without getting a censor. I mean, what the hell? What next? Hell is going to be censored? Then it's going to be "fork" because it sounds like !@#$%.

Maybe you should consider getting rid of some of the filters? Perchance?

Coding / GM Help (Escape Characters?)

Okay, here's my problem. Using the built in draw_text() commands using a regular font (Arial Narrow) I want to draw a string containing the # character.

Normally that creates a new line in GM. How can I stop that?

Oh, and, er, also, how can I use both ' and " characters in a string, please?

I'm beginning to see those limitations people always mention about GM <__<...

Hi, my name is Connor. Many times I have looked around these forums and found lots of topics full of people making logos for free. It looked interesting. However... the logos were never of much quality.

I aim to change this, with my new logo creating service.

So, please, if you need a logo, make a post here, and I'll try my hardest to follow your specification to make you a logo, within 7 days.

For a couple of moments there, I went to www.zfgc.com and I saw a directory index... a few of the normal SMF files were completely gone. No index.php, SSI.php, etc.

Why, exactly?

Every so often in the Who's Online page I get "Unknown Action". I get it on lots of forums. On the old Central it used to be "Nothing, or nothing that you can see...". But, why does it say Unknown Action? One might think it's because they're, say, viewing a hidden board, or the admin panel, etc.

But, a minute ago, four people were on "Unknown Action", even myself. Why, exactly?

Every so often the site goes down. It's happened three times for me now. At first, it was only for half a minute, and I thought it was just me. Then again it happened, for about five minutes... annoying, not fatal, I still had other forums.

Then... it was down for about ten to twenty minutes.

Now, this doesn't really bother me since I'm not so active here anyway, but it would probably be useful to fix this, am i rite <__<?

Maybe switch hosting service...
