That's actually pretty nice. I'd go with a darker shade for the hair somewhere in there to get definition though, and use a bit more contrast. Do you mind if I try my hand at an edit?

Alright, here it is.



My edit is on the left. Basically, what I've done (Without adding or losing any colours) is that I've drastically increased the contrast between the shades. I added more definition to the outline as well. This makes the character stand out a lot more against the background. Hopefully you can learn some stuff off of this edit and use it for the rest of your work. Keep it up.

actually, i just tried to keep the character in a simple style, i didnt wanna over do things or it'd mean more work for graphics. I guess I can try to make the background look a bit more simple to match the character's style. Thanks a lot anyways, thats a real nice edit. :)
