Graphics Requests/Archive / Need MC Link using bottle
« on: April 02, 2012, 01:31:18 pm »
I found myself in need of the Minish Cap style Link using a bottle. So I guess the link that swings his bottle, and dumps stuff out of it. If there are more animations with the bottles, that too would be great!
Thanks!

« on: March 14, 2012, 12:58:45 pm »
For some reason, I lost Goodnight's amazing Majora's Mask clock engine off my computer... :-\
I already did a search on this forum and only found the version 5 unregistered engine, but I am looking for the most recent, registered version if anyone has it, please!

Thanks!

MC & FS / [Solved] Minish Cap Oracles
« on: November 19, 2010, 07:07:19 pm »
Hello!

I am requesting the sprites of the Oracles (Din, Nayru, Farore) from the Minish Cap game. I have already have sprites of them walking down, but I am also looking for sprites of them walking up, right and left.
If someone has them, that would be great!

Thanks!

LTTP & FSA / [Solved] All of the LTTP Tiles
« on: May 06, 2010, 12:06:09 am »
A long while ago, Scooternew released some .png images of every tile in Link to the Past. I searched for the topic and found that it was four years ago (2006!), but the links to the tile sets are down.
So my request is if someone has the original, unedited version of the tiles, I would greatly appreciate if they were uploaded again.

Entertainment / Mario Galaxy 2 and plot-orientation
« on: December 02, 2009, 10:55:16 pm »
As I am sure many of you already knew, Nintendo is developing a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, calling it Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Creative, I know XD)

Here is the trailer:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO10_IbDUBU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO10_IbDUBU</a>

In an interview, Shigeru Miyamoto said that the game will be less plot-oriented than the first. The first game wasn't unique plot-oriented than any other Mario game. It was "Save the princess" once again. True, Rosalina did have background story (which I loved), but nothing more plot worthy. And now this game will have LESS of that. It's safe to say that Princess Peach will, once again, be kidnapped.
This irks me very much. When I play a game, I want to be captivated by the plot as well as maintaining fun value. Mario games have the potential for this. Miyamoto fears that plot will take away the fun value. Personally, when there is a plot, I feel much more connected to the game (Rosalina's storybook and the sheer fun of SMG are in harmony). When there is NO plot, I feel as if what I am doing in the game is pointless, because there is nothing being solved by going through this fun trouble.

What do you guys think?
Personally, I REALLY hope there is more plot than Miyamoto is letting on to believe.

MC & FS / [Solved] Link Minish Cap Swimming Ripples
« on: August 16, 2009, 06:45:53 pm »
Okay, so I've looked just about everywhere but I can't find the ripples for when Link is swimming in Minish Cap!
I already have the graphics of him swimming, but not the actual ripples, and I would greatly appreciate them, please!

Thanks you in advance!

Coding / Help with "unexpected error" in GM
« on: November 10, 2008, 10:16:51 pm »
Well I have tried many things already!

- I have searched through every object and tried to look for any recursions (infinite loops.)
- I went through objects and changed a lot of things that still work the way they should but make the game faster.
-I deleted the room I was working on, just before the error first appeared.
-I scanned my computer for any virus, adware/spyware, etc.
-I got rid of a lot of useless sprites and any resources that weren't in use.
-I tried fixing a lot of tiling problems in the rooms.
-I fixed some background problems that had to do with tiles.
-I have already restared my computer many times.
-I have 1GB RAM and 4.7GB in hard drive
-I have already tried re-installing GM 7.0 Pro
-My other games run just fine, AND they have a lot more resources than this one.

Nothing of the above list worked.
I get the error when the game is "preparing graphics"

I am out of ideas. What should I do?!

Coding / [Request] Need a good Online Chat Engine
« on: October 09, 2008, 11:08:13 pm »
I am looking for a good online chat engine; merely to chat.
I would like this because my friend is complaining about MSN being such a bother having viruses and popups everywhere.
But I would like it to have a login session. I tried GMC, but it didn't really help. All there is is online engines with connecting to an IP etc. No chat engine.

Thanks a lot

Other Projects / [WIP] Super Mario Rosette
« on: August 02, 2008, 01:05:43 am »

This game is sequelled to Super Mario Galaxy! You play as Mario of course, and you go through all manors of worlds, levels and Missions, looking for the Lost Souls (who went into hiding). Use an arsenal of abilities with the help for the 4 colored Souls! Use the different powers to help Mario find the Lost Souls; such as Ice Mario, Fire Mario, and Boo Mario!
With the lost power of all the found souls, you can go to the Bowser level of the world, and fight for Peach's Soul Piece!
What is Bowser's 'master plan'?!

Other Discussion / Your ideal vacation?
« on: July 11, 2008, 04:36:58 pm »
Well I am going away tomorrow for a vacation with my family(6 in total) to a cottage. It's supposed to be a "vacation", but we're all still together XD

To be honest, my ideal vacation would be to a beautiful secluded area alone (or with a close friend) so I can re cooperate from my life, and give time to myself... But meh.

What would be your ideal vacation?

Debates / Vive la Démocratie ZFGC
« on: June 23, 2008, 06:48:40 pm »
Well this thought came to me when I found the topic that CrystalAngel now had administrator status (Congratulations)

I think that the people of ZFGC should be allowed to choose who will be their administrator. Someone with experience at coding, popular, someone who would abide by the rules and would enforce them (to a certain extent)
This could also be a fun, little event that we have every now and then.

This was just an idea I got, and I wanted to voice it. Don't hurt me...

Feedback / Somebody is messing with the Wiki
« on: June 05, 2008, 12:40:03 am »
Well if you look on the ZFGC Wiki, you can see that all the pages pretty much are ruined. there is only a "." period on all of them.

I would suggest that the administrators somehow add a "last posted by (IP)" thing, so you can see who it is and possibly IP-Ban them from the Wiki (if thats possible)

Just thought I should bring it to our attention.

Entertainment / looking for Castlevania 64 (LoD) game shark code(s)
« on: May 21, 2008, 07:32:24 pm »
As the title states, I am looking for a game shark code that would take out the background music, and the background sounds. Such as wind or rain, etc.
I was planning on recording a few sounds, so thats the reason why I want this.
So anyone know anything good?

Thanks!

Coding / Draw sprite higher than foreground
« on: April 14, 2008, 11:01:51 pm »
I would really like to know if there is a way to draw a sprite, or text above a foreground.
The textbox engine I am using, overlaps the foreground when it comes up, so this would prove that its possible.
Anyone know?

Thanks

Other Discussion / What happend to...
« on: April 14, 2008, 05:18:25 pm »
What happend to Fox? He was a member at ZFGC here...
Did he change his name?! Did he leave?! I am completely in the shadows here...
For that matter, Sprite Collector. Anyone know about him? what about Hyrule_Boy, he hasn't been active for a while.

Anyone want to enlighten me?! lol

Discussion / [Request] Tile Extractor
« on: March 29, 2008, 07:48:53 pm »
Like the title says, I am looking for a tile extractor for roms.
Preferably Super Nintendo(SNES(.smc)).

it would be nice if there was one that could extract it straight from the rom, with the same good pallette and eveything, but one that takes a snapshot of the game emulator every step, is good too :)

EDIT: I'm leaning more towards getting a program that takes a snapshot of the emulator...

Other Discussion / Looking for a certain "Oracle" Database program
« on: March 27, 2008, 11:16:48 pm »
Like the title says I am looking for a certain database program. The company that made the database program is Oracle. If you search it up, you'll know what I am talking about.
The program that I am searching for is one that can hold any information you want about something/someone.
Like what it looks like, their name, how old it is, etc.

If anyone knows the Oracle programs, what specific application/program does just that?

Coding / [REQUEST] Draw HUD without affecting position
« on: March 05, 2008, 06:41:33 pm »
Well just to shed some light on what the title says.
I am would like to know how to draw the HUD onto the screen without the position of that sprite changing. say like the angle of view has changed, and then the HUD that was drawn is in a different part of the view.
I would like to know how to keep the HUD on one position.
Does anyone understand what I mean when I say this?

Please and thank you.
