Hi. How hard is it to make a sprite sheet, starting from an initial sprite?

What I mean is, once you have the initial character sprited in his/her standing pose, how easy is it to make new poses?

Also, what techniques do you guys use in making new poses? Do you draw it from scratch each time? Or do something else?

Thanks

well, once you have your 270 character made and you want to animate him walking conserve his torax and head. Then make the arms and legs from scratch. Use a new layer for making the new parts and the old layer set it over the new one but make it unvisible. When you want to comepere swap this option.
If you want to make him attacking or a drastic movement I recomend you making it all over again.
