It looks nice, I love Harvest Moon!
But you think you could make a better name? There is already a HM game called "Back to Nature",
which is a bit too similar to your title.

Entertainment / Re: Hidden OoT Gossip Stone Message...
« on: November 02, 2006, 11:00:40 pm »
I knew about for a long time. And the Kokiri the stone mentions IS Link.
I know Link isn't a Kokiri, but remember that it is a GOSSIP stone, so it heard that from the other
Kokiri's, and they don't know Link isn't a Kokiri.

It's pretty good, but everytime the music restarts the game freezes for a second, and I died because of that. :-\
I think I got 4600.

Go Kirby!

Other Discussion / Screen messed up!
« on: October 20, 2006, 02:24:16 am »
I have a laptop. Everything was fine and I put it in standby mode and went to go eat, came back and hour later, and the screen is totally messed up! Almost all of the white has turned into yellow(and some blue into green, while others colours are normal), and there is sort of "tearing" where rows of pixels are shifted to the left alot, and I cant even see anything at all when any windows are maximized because then the entire screen tears.
I restarted my computer, that didn't fix it. Turned it off completely then on again, checked the graphic settings, updated graphic drivers, checked for viruses and spyware with various programs in safe mode, and it's still messed up.
I managed to get rid of most of the yellow by fiddling with some settings but the "tearing" is still there.

I don't know what to do next  :(

*cries*

Also the laptop was in a locked room so nobody could touch it, and the internet cable was unplugged.

I thought you had to play EVERY young link song to them, then you can play the bug-catching game.

1. The rooms inside the houses are way to big and empty. Having a smaller room filed with stuff would be better.
2. You seem to be mixing lttp, gb and mc graphics and it really doesn't look to good.
3. The link sprite is brighter than everything else.

Discussion / Re: Are Fan Games Legal?
« on: October 05, 2006, 08:39:34 am »
OK, I'm going to say something because this is really annoying me.

Graal Online didn't start charging money until way AFTER they got rid of all the copyrighted material
and had all original stuff. Which means if Nintendo tried to shut it down, graal online was making no profit at that time.
I remember this because I played Graal Online before it became pay-to-play, and there was no Zelda sprites in it at all.

Debates / Re: Gay marriage
« on: June 15, 2006, 06:39:16 pm »
I think disallowing two people of the same sex to marry is selfish. You can't forbid something which would make them happy just because you don't like it or your religion is against it.

You're not the one getting married and it will affect you in no way.

You should be able to defend against the gohma larva with your shield.

dont release a demo every time a dungeon is finished, i suggest you wait until you get up to the master sword to release another demo.

That's what I was going to do.

i have a suggestion, maybe being able to change the controlls. people with controllers would like to play this game with their controllers. that would be shweet.
isnt there a program to set keyboard input to a gaming pad?

Yes there is, it's called JoyToKey.
I tried that program on this game with one of my gamepads
and it works fine.
And I will have customizable controls in the next demo.

And about sprites disappearing after opening a chest or something, I think that's gamemaker error(It happens with all my fullscreen games) It should only happen if you alt+tab while the game is open, so don't do it.

I can host it for you if you like, and I can put it on my main site under downloads if you wish.

Please do  :)

I had a site a while ago, but it sucked.(It took a long time to load because of too many images) but I'm making a new site which should be done in a few days.

Holy crap I'm winning O_o
 :D

The reason I sort of slowed progress on Oot Gb is
because it seemed no one really cared about it much.
I played the demo a hundred times and it didn't seem
to glitchy to me (maybe that's just I knew how to avoid the glitches?)
Another reason for the slowness is I'm not an excellent spriter so I could use some
help with that.

Anyway, if everyone likes it so much maybe I should work harder on it?  :)

Hey, I plan on finishing Oot Gb!  :D
