Most of the originally numbered megaman games were on the NES, the NES graphics !@#$% rock.
If the graphics were anything other than retro, fans would crucify capcom.

very nice so far, very smooth overall.
a few faults though:
boomerang needs diagonal throwing (you probably already have this planned)
game needs an option for full screen (probably planned also)
the speed of the roll, I suppose it is more realistic that the roll isn't a constant speed, but the rolls main purpose is so the player can move faster, it's just pretty irritating that only the first half of the roll feels like it's faster than running.
And none of the tiling stood out to me, I don't know if these areas were just made for the demo, but they felt bland
