Technically LBP ISN'T anything new--its just a mix of principals and designs of other games that have been around for a while. Saying LBP is revolutionary is like saying Mario Tennis is revolutionary.

Well it's more revolutionary for side-scrollers. Not gaming overall.

Edit: I'd like to point as well, just because a game doesn't do something revolutionary for gaming, doesn't mean anyone should just disregard it and call it !@#$%.

Anyway, this is !@#$% awesome you can make something so complex in this game- makes me want a PS3, but if I had to choose between my 360 for TF2 and this, I'd definitely choose my 360 for TF2. And I'd never trade in my Wii because I'm a pretty big Nintendo fanboy.  :P Unless of course, I get a !@#$% job like everyone else and just buy one, but I really can't be arsed.  :P

I wonder what else you can do in this game. You can make pretty much any machine, right? How did he make it though? I'm assuming the creation tool's like what I've seen from Garry's Mod (what I've seen of it, which is a fair bit), right?

I don't think anyone really thinks its bad because it's not on a nintendo console. I think we've moved past that, well most of us, anyway.
