That would be sweet if I could get it to work. I've tried the following ROMs

Chrono Trigger (U) [!].smc
Chrono Trigger (U) [b1].smc
Chrono Trigger (U) [h1c].smc
Chrono Trigger (U) [t1].smc

None of them get me past where Crono's mom is all like "Hey Crono!"

Yeah it's pretty cool, started playing this yesterday. I hate the "weaboo"ness though. I mean, the overall translation is fine. but, "Princess-sama"? I mean, princess is formal enough, the sama is kinda useless :P. So yeah, basically all the whatchamacallits after names annoy me a bit :P. I mean "Magus-sama" could just as easily just be "Lord magus" But why whine when I can just pretend that's what it is anyway.


The best thing about this is Frog's un shakespearian talking :d

That's the biggest criticism that this got over at Romhacking.net (note: not a warez site or a zero-day translation site... srsly). I have the IPS sitting in my desktop... If only it were an IPS for the Playstation version instead, I have the PS disc, but not the SNES cart...

Actually I think they changed Magus's name to its original form, Maou :P

Nope, they didn't change it to Maou (Loldemonking). They could've called him DEMONLORD or something badass like that :D. It'd be even cooler than DEATH EVAN

lol yeah I noticed they kept him as Magus after playing it a bit :P I dont mind, I prefer the name Magus lol

hmmm... thats a good question, lol I just randomly grabbed one of my CT roms and patched it and it worked fine... O.o but I have like 20 different CT roms so I dunno... :\

I downloaded it, what the heck. And there are a few changes I noticed... but I'm not playing the whole thing again just for dialogue, despite it's brilliance.

gah I've got like 4 different betas... 4 diff versions in english... 4 different versions in japanese... the prerelease... the demo... bah too much lol

lol well; I have 5 marvel comic shirts.... each I use as my undershirts XD...

Thursday = Venom shirt
Friday = Carnage shirt
Saturday = Punisher shirt
Sunday = Venom logo shirt
Monday = Xmen shirt

nah I just patched the initial US release of it o.o... odd that its not working... I dunno I'll PM you some details on the rom I patched
