UPDATE:
Added Item Test*green shell).
Item Box, it gives you only the green shell because is a test.
Fixed some HUD stuff, bar goes yellow,orange and then red, to warn you if you go too fast and the temperature bar will get full and boom! xD
Add Platform/second floors tests.
Some Tiles for the ramps, only put it in the first ramp tho.
...fixed the blinking in the place system, now it doesn't blink and it shows your position.
Under place system shows your laps and under your laps, the opponent's laps.
A few more stuff was added but I can't remember.

Controls:
z=use item
Space=accelerate
up=move up one line/lane
down=move down line.lane
right & left to spin/flip in air.
Backspace=restart room(in case you get stuck or some other glitch)
enter=take a screenshot
NOTE:I made the ramps invisble and I didn't make sprites/tiles for them yet so don't be like "wow, I just jumped for no reason lol" xD.
NOTE2:In This demo I have only one opponent,a "place system"(which needs to be fixed),HUD needs to be fixed too...also the Opponent picks a random character so press backspace to restart the room and see a new opponent.
For Next demo I'll make the Opponent more challenging, more opponents...I have an item system like the one from Mario Kart almost done, so for next demo I may add it.
Glitches:You could get stuck somewhere...and one glitch that happens most of the times is landing in a different lane/line, which it's a problem I have with codes and masks.

lol I actually tried it to do something like in burnout when crashing and a lot of cars are in the crash  it zooms-out to show everything it worked but I don't think leaving it will be a good idea on an excitebike game.

Nice! This could be really cool. I love racing games where like 10 or more people race at once!

What are you using to make this?
If it's GML, and you ever need any help/scripting, just let me know. :)

GM6 and yes GML/Code.
On the Final Game I'll Have 8 People racing at once.(you+7).
I put a lot of CPU/Opponents to test the engine out.

you know, maybe if it zoomed in and out automatically like in Super Smash Bros, then it could work pretty well.

That could be easy to do...the thing is that we need a reason to make it zoom out or zoom in...like in a special mode...or maybe give the player an option to set how far he wants to set the view...wait that doesn't sound good, does it?

Added Obstacles/walls and some Tiles here and there, gotta finish putting tiles later.
New Demo:

This Demo Has same as before Plus Lakitu(does what it does on Mario Kart),walls obstacles(you run into them you stop moving, CPU gets stuck in it and after a while may move because I didn't fix the code to make it get out of the block).

Yeah. I just didn't see this until now. It looks very nice. What are you using for the graphics style. I think I recognize Toad from the original Mario Excitebike. What about everyone else?

Also, I been reading some tutorials of how to make online games...maybe I try something later...Last time I tried online I ended up playing by myself because for some reason it would only let me play with me in different windows.

The only real reason to have a zooming view would be if you were playing with two players on the same PC.
The view could zoom out to show both players if you get too far apart.

...Or you could just use split screen. >_> lol

or you could zoom out when you go faster, so that you can see more of the course coming.
Easier said: The faster you go, the more you see.

Good News guys! Got the Place System to work with a few codes of lines.(I thought it would take me thousands of code lines but it didn't).
Also Now there are 7 opponents, plus you there is 8.
Added a few more items, there was a green shell, which goes in the line you threw it.
I added a red shell which goes forwards and switches lanes from bottom to top and from top to bottom.
Bananas! you throw them behind you and whoever comes...you know what happens.
Mushroom,gives you a permanent boost...makes sure you don't use more than one,remember the temperature bar?...
There is a blue shell which is gonna work like in the Mario Kart game but I haven't program it yet.
Added A Spawn item which creates box and when they disappear a few seconds later a new one appears...and some other new stuff which I can't remember.
I'll upload it later today since I want to change some sprites from the HUD first.

Update.
7 opponents.
Place System Working perfectly.
Item system kind of like mario kart.
4 items:Bananas,green shells,red shells and mushrooms.
Waluigi added.
Control, same as previous plus Z to throw item.
1 go to plain room(it has no glitches since it has no ramps)
2 go to advanced room(with ramps and more things so it probably has the landing glitch still.)

Character Select and Stage Select will come when I get more stuff in the Engine done.
