I have been thinking about getting FF3, DS and it will be my first FF game can someone give me an overview of the games and maybe a storyline?

Hmm... here's a small tidbit for you.

Basically the games revolve around Crystals which keep the four elements of the world intact. If those Crystals were to lose their shine (power) or break, then the worlds elements would go haywire and basically the planet will die. This is basically the theme of the first 5 final fantasies, after that... They start changing alot. :P
