Bah im bummin lol... I had plans to get Guitar Hero 3 on its release date (FEW DAYS! lol) but sadly ima have to wait a couple months :'(!!!

Any of you lucky bums getting a copy on release? lol >_< I need my guitar hero fix and GH 2 and Encore are FAR too easy for me now :(

Yeh, I've pre-ordered it, but I had to get the slowest shipping, cause I don't have too much money.  And I have to make a REALLY REALLY REALLY hard decision-- should I buy Asassin's parkour or Mass Effect on release?  I'm leaning towards Mass Effect right now, but both look SO good ;__;

Yea, I can't wait either. >_<
I've never owned a GH title yet, but I played GH2 a bit.

I pre-ordered GH3 for Wii at a local EB Games. Getting it suday.

I really wish GH3 had some System of a Down in it tho. :P
Deer Dance or Prison Song would be fun to play in GH.

lol but im stoked about playing some Metallica - One on it :o!!!!! I might try to slip a bit from my check towards GH3 <_< we'll see lol

It's great. Me and a friend picked it up for his Wii at GameStop at midnight and played it until past four this morning. It really adds some great new stuff to the series and single-player is far more interesting now. However we put in the unlock all songs cheat eventually (I had to do some digging through forums) because we don't really care about the career even if it is cool, haha.

Best new songs I got to play:

Through the Fire and Flames (Medium)
School's Out (Hard)
Knights of Cydonia (Medium)

GH3 has 7 songs that interest me.
Rock band has 8 + the Metallica album (counting DL content which make up 1+album)

Rock Band has (Don't Fear) The reaper which is worth at least 2 songs, so Rock Band wins so far for me :P

Then again, Guitar Hero 2 cost about £70, so I assume GH3 will be the same. Unless you can use the same Guitar?
Rock band will cost about £83 (translated from $169).

GH2's not easy. If you think it is you're not trying the stupid songs like Jordan and Six that aren't even songs, but just notes stuffed into a chart. If you like that kind of thing, you'll LOVE GH3, because GH3 has a bunch of songs like Jordan and Six that aren't fun to play at all even though the original music is awesome.

W00t. I got it today.
Played it for about 7 hours, my fingers hurt. >_<

I'm playing on normal, still trying to perfect the "hammer" technique tho.

There are a lot of crazy songs that just feel like you're mashing random frets like a madman, and they're no fun to play. >_< I like songs with rhythm an beats that you can really feel and almost play on instinct. Kinda like most of GH2's songs.

O.o wtf are you talking about Jordan not being a song, lol... and Six is easy >_<... The only *song* on GH2 that really shouldn't be there is "Less Talk More Rokk"; and thats because the part you play is all done via synth in the original song :P

Meh, it doesn't seem too appealing to me, but I've never liked playing music anyway, plus I suck at it.  However, if it had any songs I like, and if it was for the Wii(I wouldn't know), I'd probably get it because I'd only have Galaxy and MP3 to keep me company until Brawl is released.
