So... I know this is a  huge gravedig, but I would really like to know if someone saved the source code. I'd really like to play it again :( Having a huge nostalgia rush right now. I checked all of my old backups and files, not there :|

Appreciate the link, but this topic was created almost a year ago. Please pay attention when posting as gravedigging is frowned upon.

Closed.

Not sure if you can call it spoiler-y really... You don't see anything terribly new (as in people)...

I think it shows off part of the mid-game though.

I personally think it looks awesome! The villain... not so much. I like the "dash" feature.

Coding / Re: [HTML + Javascript] Need some help finding tutorials
« on: July 14, 2011, 04:10:44 am »
If you're not even familiar with the img element, then you shouldn't be starting with this.  You should take a look at the w3c schools, they have everything you'll need for web development.

Please do not recommend W3C Schools (http://w3fools.com/).

OP: PHP + GD, Google should give you more than enough to start doing this.
Your PHP recommendation is almost as bad as the W3C Schools recommendation. ;3

Lrn2ruby, yo~ :D

Do not taint my mind with ruby D:

That has to be the greatest thing I have ever seen come out from a Zelda fan game. You're really amazing :)

Art looks really good. I'm not sure if this is a game though? Or are they just remaking the art?...

Sounds very similar to Ocarina of Time...

Software Engineering / Re: Attn: Software Engineering Division

The engine should feature the basic requirements for a Zelda game, movement, menus, items

I'd like it if we could implement some sort of scripting system that would handle the areas, add new items and handle cutscenes etc.

Coding / Re: [SDL] Tutorial help
« on: May 28, 2011, 03:01:00 am »
You're running it by pressing the green button in Visual Studio right?

If so, you don't have the proper files in the right place. You need to place your resources and Dlls in the SDL_TUTORIAL directory, the one that has your source code :) In this case, the folder that has main.cpp

You could go ahead and run it from the debug folder too since you have the resources and dlls in there, but this is not through the IDE.

Is your Monitor's gamma settings correct or do those tiles look very flat compared to the other things D:

The fork and knife look really odd... They look too flat, and the knife is curved. I know that's how it is in the picture, but I think it would look better if it was straightened.

The top curves could use some AA too

Recruitment / Re: LoZ - Ocarina of time

I had a class in Maya, it's actually pretty easy to use once you know how the interface works, you should look at the tutorials that come with it.

I have also messed with the UDK, again, it looks very complex. I was able to make a map though with relative ease, never touched it again after that and I didn't mess with the scripting.

First of all, welcome to the community.

Second, no offense, but OoT remakes always end up cancelled... The amount of work needed is not that of a few guys who collaborate over the internet :/
