Looks great. The only thing I see that could be changed is that big tooth right in the middle.
were you going for GB style? Because I think you did that very well.

You should add more detail to the teeth, they stand out of the rest of the sprite. Do that, and I declare this sprite to be one of the most rockin' I've seen so far. :P

Ok, little update with his teeth:

There are 2 versions, other's lighter and other's darker
Not sure what style it is... I think it fits pretty much any style (except MC...)

I'd say it's LttP, and IMO only. :P It looks better now, but do you think you could round up the upper row of the teeth? There is no actual need for, but it would probably look better, you decide. It's awesome right now. :)

I think it's perfect now. Nothing that could be really add to improve, the teeth are awesome now. And I say you should leave the size. The tinyness and the ammount of teeths makes it look creepy, and the moon WAS creepy, thus you go by the right. :)
