Golden wolf is OoT Link?

Not completed the game yet, so I dunno if this is explained later in the game, but here goes:

1. He's a wolf spirit... it's mentioned that all the Heroes have the "Spirit of the beast" or something.
2. He's dead (obviously) so he could be a previous Hero.
3. The topography of his spiritual Hyrule seems a lot more intact, and possibly more like OoT?
4. He takes GREAT interest in TP Link.
5. He refers to "our bloodline" - so is an ancestor or close relative of an ancestor of TP Link. As has been mentioned in MANY Zelda games, the line of the Hero is down the bloodline, so all the heroes are direct descendants of ONE hero.
6. He responds to songs howled by TP Link... and all of those howled songs are songs from OoT and MM - meaning they bear the most significance for OoT Link.

Well, opinions?

Who KNOWS. It isn't really something that is a yes or no answer. Of course you can draw your own conclusions, but there isn't a he is OOT Link or not.

I think not. I mean if the game doesn't explicitly tell you or hint at it, then I think not. He may have been some protector of Hyrule. But you do make good points.

i actually totally agree.
or he might be like a different unseen link maybe.

I haven't read anything in this topic, but I came to sugest you change the topic title to something that spoils less. All the other spoiler topics dont have any spoilers in the title, so I read it on accident.

Uhm, wow? If you'd actually read the topic, it's never confirmed, so it's just a supposition...

no, he says he choose the path of THE HERO, not they he WAS the hero.

well no.OoT link could not be in the game as the wolf.According to th time line TP is between OoT and MM so that basicy settles it(i hope)

full metal boy, not to be rude or anything, but that was a ridiculously stupid post. link is older in twilight princess than he is in MM, and it's already been said that TP is between MM and WW.

Kinda. The game states that it's the "spirit of the beast" (or something like that) which defines the Hero... and the spirit just happens to be a wolf, like Hero's Shade and Wolf Link. :P

Hehe. I found a sentence that shows my whole opinion in a nutshell.

NO LINK HAS EVER SPOKEN.

Remember that skeleton-dude is actually TALKING to Link. OoT-Link never talked, as no Link ever did. So, that's basically the biggest contra.

Also, why should it be some rusty, filthy skeleton that is representing OoT-Link? Why not, like, a soul, spirit, ghost?

I don't know... maybe it's some other dude from an other game that was a close friend/person to Link.

well all heroes having the spririt of a beast can exclude lttp link because he had the spirit of a bunny
