my comp doesent start?!?

ok,ive got this"big" problem;when i trying to start my comp it doesent start,wy?
the lamp back on it is on.....
the start button doesent light.......
i rely need some help with the prob(wath it is)
and/or how to solve it...
 :'( i am getting bader and bader............ :'(

is there some wrong with tha hard drive??
Is it possible to trade the hard drive?(to another comp...)

It's possible if you've been monkeying around in it that you may have knocked some power cables loose from the mobo. That's what I did by accident once, and by trial and error I managed to get it working again. My front LEDs still don't work after that XD

Do any of the fans come on etc? If so are you sure its not a monitor problenm? Do you get any display at all?

Maybe the power outlet you are using is screwed up or the serge protector you are using is screwed up
try switching the outlet or using a different serge protector

If the start button doesn't even come on, I would say it is most likely an issue with power.

Check if all the cables are plugged in. If they are and it is still not working, replace the power supply. If that doesn't work still, then it is probably your motherboard.
