So the "college" I'm going to next year teaches Visual Basic. NET and SQL Server 05, later followed by Java. Now Java I can handle, but VB .NET... Hmm.

I am fine in VB6, but I wiki'd VB .NET and found alot of differences. They aren't bad, but they'll !@#$% me off.

So anyway, does anybody know of a VB .NET learning website? =).

I hadn't found much problem with VB.NET after I had learned a good bit of VB6, but this might help you if you want :P

http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/NET/vbNet.html

Mostly, I learned from some examples then left VB.NET when I started using C# :P

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

O_O ^^^^ No comment. lol *refuses to start an infinite list of why VB is a decent programming language, and is very effective if utilized properly*

ANYWAY. I need to learn VB.net myself... having done VB6 for a couple years professionally, it just seems like the logical next step... I WAS supposed to learn .net while I was doing pro software dev, but uh... *shrugs* oops lol

AFAIK, Visual C++ 2005 Express has a Windows.Forms editor (I don't use Windows Forms with C++ <_<), but I do know that C# definitely does ;P
