However, 1. Conio is not part of the standard C++ library, so I don't really feel like using it, and 2. I'm using Dev-C++, which, due to 1., doesn't fully support Conio.

Also, this topic has served it's purpose. Please let it die in peace. >.>

It doesn't matter if you said it MIGHT, or not, the point is, you were thinking about trying it at some point, and you wouldn't be able to. Also, wasn't MMGB cancelled?

You have no idea the depths that n00bs may sink to. I'm pretty sure that on that one online game I play we had someone like User B once.

Facinating. I believe this would be the logical course of action, captain Staff.

Just a small note here, you wouldn't be able to use Minish Cap graphics since IT'S AN SNES ROM AND IT CAN ONLY SUPPORT 16-BIT GRAPHICS! Correct me if I'm wrong, but MC is 32-bit.

Oh, hey, I just remembered I've had at least two wet TWW dreams.

One was kind of based on PH, I made that boat ZOOM from Windfall to Forest Haven.

The other was something about siling back to the Forbidden Fortress, which I haven't done yet but meh.

Oh, oh! Another was one where I went into some temple thing, and I also think that boat from PH was there, but I had this dream at least 6 months before it was announced, so it probably just looked similar.

OH! And there was this one where Outset Island was there, but it looked different, and at one point I had found a 1/4 heart thing.

Oh, yeah, there was another one where I was at Forest Haven, but it was diferent, it was surrounded by pink water, I think it was poisonous. I was STARTING the quest from there.

A more recent one was where I was in a house, but I read a book and got transported to some alternate universe where reading was forbidden. Same house, though. Oh, and at some point I think- Meh, to long to type out. Yeah, way to hard to type out... >.>

A general Zelda dream I had, had the Gerudo (however it's spelt) in it. I was running around the overworld at one point, and on a related dream, I was running across a short path on a clif away from them. I think some parts where disolving.

... Okay, around 6 TWW dreams and a general one. NEAT.

However, you would also have more options, and it could be ported to other systems. Also, you could OPTIMIZE it.

Not that you SHOULD start over, you've come too far on this for that.

OoT2D is, indeed, the best fan game.
TP2D will be way beyond your ability (I'm pretty sure you're going to attempt to make it alone).
No, WWA doesn't need anybody. This guy has to learn for himself the true meaning of the force fan gam making.

Note: I don't know it myself, I've never made a fan game.

And you couldn't do that in the actual game?

...every dream I have is so weird that the next day I have a hard time remembering it all xD.

You probably are just waking up a bit after your REM cycle ends, which makes you not remember it as well, since, you know, you weren't dreaming then.

Anyways, last night, at some point, I think I dreamt that I was browsing the ZFGC index (>.>) and I saw that Spam was re-opened. Not only that, but it was it's own forum, not a sub-forum in off-topic. >.>

Anyways, neat dream, but definately not the strangest. When you dream of being physically ON your school's webpage, surrounded by baby computer viruses which are squishing your fingers behind a TV, let me know. Yes, that was, sadly, a real dream.

We should make a Dream Journal topic.

Hmm.. That might work for what I'm trying to do. I'll get back to you if my mind works with this.

EDIT: Yeah, that will probably work. Now just to make it WAIT for a bit before executinb the next action. >.>

Okay, I've realized that this isn't the problem I'm having. It was kinda useful though. Locking.

EDIT: Meh, instead of creating a new topic, I'll just change the question in this one. First post.

WOOT!  DEMO! I'll download it as soon as I'm out of school. Maybe. Unless I start working on my artificial intelligence programming skillz (with a z), in which case, by the time I remember, it'll be too late. But, still, eventually today, I will download it.

I wouldn't know, that's why I'm asking. Example of what I'd like to do: Program wais for input, user presses escape key and the program exits.

Well, it looks like you're doing this in C++, make sure to specify that next time. Now, it looks like you're using the Windows api thing here, and I have no idea how to understand that, but I think I know what the problem is.

Code: [Select]
main (argc, argv, envp)
Should probably be:

Code: [Select]
int main (argc, argv, envp)

I'd just like to find out how to know how to detect what the ASCII code of something that has been entered is. Thanks.

EDIT: How do I detect a key being pressed in console mode? Or just tell me what text to google. >.>
