Title: Good Minimap?
Post by: Rayo on July 15, 2011, 06:38:05 pm
Here is an example screenshot of my minimap:

The question is: How I can make my minimap better?
Can someone help me? And yes I know, the border is too green, and that's the problem:

Actually I would go and say that the border is too big and too grin haha, I would recommend you to make it just pure white and 1px thick.

I think it looks great, but if you want to improve it you could try a contrasting border like yellow, brownish or even blue/red border. You could also make the light and dark areas inside the map more contrasting if you think it needs more clarity. I personally already like it the way it is right now.
Not too sure about the hookshot icon in the topcorner though.

I tried this. And I think this white border is a good border too. Thanks. :D

That's a good idea. I will try this.  ;)
