I know it's in German, but I have to say... Rollen sounds pretty awesome. XD

Looks good, man.

I forgot to add, that I am working on an English version, too. You can choose your language in the technical demo. ;)
I will update the game many times and I want to add more screenshots and maybe a trailer for my game. I hope I can add all what I want before NCFC begins. Additionally, now each screenshot has a description. :D

Looks good. I'm quite interested in this fangame and how it's engine will hold up.
One piece of advice since you want to enter the NCFC: if you have someone else translate your text from German to English, it might be worth it to post some of the translated text on forums like this one. If possible with the original next to it. Just to check if it's properly constructed. There was this other game a while back (I believe a french game) where the creators thought they had a good translator, but the text was barely readable in English.

Can I have English but still have that say Rollen? XD

And yeah, I agree with Martijn here. I know ein wenig Deutsch (think that's right) so I may be able to help with basic stuff.

I don't typically like Minish Cap style, but this looks really nice, especially the pause menu.  Looking forward to the demo!

I love your Game!
Those sprites succeeded to you really well. It can hardly expect the technical demo to play.

I don't need a translator at the moment, only later for the original game.
At last it is a technical demo and not a big game with many texts.

Furthermore, I added a video of (my) Mainmenu:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLVJi7md-eM
I think you know, which resources that are. ;)

Why dont you use for the Options below lower case letters? it woul fit better on "Löschen" since the ö is already a lower case letter and i would prefer that you say in the Language option "English" instead of "Englisch" and since i didnt see the "English Version" of that menu i would say you should leave "Deutsch" to the german option instead of "German" ( if you did so ) when the game is set on english, and least i would give this optin on gamestart to so people from both languages dont have to search throug the menus if they dont nesessary want to

The game looks like it's coming along fantastic, I'm excited to play it. How many items do you have programmed so far?

So for the video, if I were playing the game, I would feel like it was going a bit slow. When the text boxes move around to shrink to fit back into the three files part, that looks a bit slow. I like the look of it, but I feel like if I were playing it, it might be a tad on the slow side. Don't even know if that's anything worth fixing, though, because it's such a small deal.

As for translating, I think your English is good enough that you could translate it yourself, then have a native speaker just look over it and smooth it out, make it flow more smoothly. When the time comes to translate, that is.

@dotyue:
The "ö" looks like a lower case but I had to make it lower, because of the place..I think it is ok.
And because of this screen:
There are an option, which starts on gamestart. Therefore you have to choose your language only one time.

@Donotfeedthemax:

Basically, I programmed all things which you can read in the "Features". But not all are 100% finish.
I have to fix the Roc's Feather and the Cane of Byrna, additionally there aren't Magnetthings for the Magnetgloves and the Hammer don't hurt enemies at the moment.
I also start programmed more things(like the hookshot on the menuscreen). But only a little bit, so you can't use it good.
This is an older screen from the original game, it shows you the hookshot(in this screen without Bugs.XD):
You can't came to this place in the technical demo.

Wow, that looks good! The entire game looks pretty amazing! I'm looking forward to playing it at NCFC!

And the Ice Keese ... I don't know if I should be happy or scared. I mean, they look great XD, but I hate those guys, 'cause they always freeze me  :-\.

Also, if you ever need help translating, I could help, too.

Currently only in German, Sahittam helped me with some English Sentences but I added today the last German Sentences.
If you want to play the English Version wait 1-2 days.

Oh, and there are some Bugs in this Version. I hope you can live with that.:)

Nice game! However i came across a bug , i was in the room where the tiles fly at you and i sort of died but not entirely , my body just moved to the center of the room but
the tiles just kept flying at to where i was last and i just sort of laid in the center , the game crashed then (it wouldn't close).

I was just thinking that the title might look nicer if it was transparent instead of white (on both the starting post of this thread and on your booth page), so I made one with transparency and I've attached it, just in case you'd like to use it. If not, no big deal, I just thought it might look better with transparency.

As for the technical demo, I just played it and I was pretty impressed. Aside from a few spelling/grammar errors (which were expected since this is the game's second language) the demo has a very complete feeling. Of course there are a few weird things, like not being able to kill bats by throwing pots at them, and the picking up of pots felt a tad bit clunky. Besides those minor things, it seems real solid! Well done, I really love this!

(here's the title edit)

Hmm, yes I come across this bug earlier...
I will try to fix this bug, but I don't know when it comes at the moment... Maybe I should check the death event better. :-\

Really? Hm, with all Pots? I have to check it, thanks. ;)
Edit: I think it is the same Problem with the Signpost, hm...

Anyway, thanks for the transparent title, I use it now. :)

And at last here a small Update to Version 0.76:

Technical Demo 0.76 - German/English (http://www.mediafire.com/?b9t98il8cep9tw5)

Changelog:

-If you throw a Pot in the "down" direction it has the right depth

-There aren't anymore problems with the lever at the beginning

-The shadow is always in the death animation(also after Pit, Lava, Grass and Puddle)

And I have to note: If you see some actions of Link without a sprite(red-box) it isn't a bug, but there isn't a sprite for this action now.
Otherwise...does anybody fight against the "Bigboss" in the game or found the Cane of Byrna? They are secrets. XD

Ok guys, let's start with part two of the game! XD
After the technical demo I am working on the original game with a new teammember: Gonken.
He helps me with maps and tiles to finish the game.
If we have news about the game I will open a new topic for the original game. :)
